Traditional cuisine, you eat a fixed menu starting with a platter of cured meats, cheeses, cecina, mulled wine jelly, fresh red cabbage salad. Then polenta taragna and polenta concia are served, with various condiments such as stew, radicchio, sausage. Desserts are included in the menu. I was pleasantly surprised by a panna cotta with pear jam made by them.

I only had dinner at the Cantina Alpina (not stayed) in the winter. Eclause is a beautiful, characteristic and slightly hilly village. The restaurant, in the center of the town, is warm and welcoming. The staff is very kind. They offered us a fixed menu (25 euros, drinks not included) based on polenta (from ancient corn from the valley) both seasoned and normal to be seasoned with three different sauces. To open a nice mix of appetizers and to close some excellent desserts. The owners are very active in promoting the village: in the period in which I went there were two small exhibitions set up in buildings near the winery.

I had never been to Eclause and I have to thank the friends who advised me to visit this beautiful hamlet and have lunch at the Z cantine degli Alpini.
Courtesy and kindness reign supreme!
Excellent dishes prepared with care and love.
Really good starters
Polenta in various "versions" that it deserves.
And what about the bunet and the cake?
We wanted to try the wine of the Valley (Havana) and it was worth it.
It's certainly not a Barolo but it accompanied the food very well.
Coffee with mocha and... lots of smiles.
Definitely correct price.
We will be back!
PS. These days in a place a stone's throw from the cellar there is a splendid photographic exhibition.

Found almost by chance, this village seems suspended in time.... Well done to the owners who are reevaluating it!!! We had dinner and were satisfied from every point of view, polenta, meat and desserts made like
Once with excellent ingredients, and with a beautiful cellar of wines and bitters!!! The idea of serving coffee at the table with the moka is brilliant!!!!!! We finish the walk in the village in style with a star-studded sky

Nice place where conviviality is at home, genuine food prepared with the utmost care, excellent raw materials too. The owners are excellent hosts and ready to satisfy the needs of those with particular intolerances. It rightfully enters my Top 10 of Val di Susa.

Menù semplice ma buono naturalmente spicca la polenta servita in 4 modi.
Occhio al parcheggio perché si arriva solo a piedi.

Herrlich 🤩ein wundervolles Ambiente im ganzen Dorf, sehr ruhig, leckeres Abendessen für die ganze Familie! Sehr freundliche Menschen, immer hilfsbereit und gesellig. Die Architektur der Häuser ist einzigartig. Steinerne Dächer und Holzbalken schmücken das Dorf.
