Old Locanda style restaurant. The village is a little gem and the place is perfectly inserted into the atmosphere of an ancient village. The owners, two architects from Turin, have brought a place from times gone by back to life. The cuisine was excellent and the dishes were truly traditional.

We stayed for a weekend with 3 adults and 2 little girls, a wonderful, large and very warm room, really good food, plentiful breakfast, staff always present, incredible owner. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Traditional cuisine, you eat a fixed menu starting with a platter of cured meats, cheeses, cecina, mulled wine jelly, fresh red cabbage salad. Then polenta taragna and polenta concia are served, with various condiments such as stew, radicchio, sausage. Desserts are included in the menu. I was pleasantly surprised by a panna cotta with pear jam made by them.

I only had dinner at the Cantina Alpina (not stayed) in the winter. Eclause is a beautiful, characteristic and slightly hilly village. The restaurant, in the center of the town, is warm and welcoming. The staff is very kind. They offered us a fixed menu (25 euros, drinks not included) based on polenta (from ancient corn from the valley) both seasoned and normal to be seasoned with three different sauces. To open a nice mix of appetizers and to close some excellent desserts. The owners are very active in promoting the village: in the period in which I went there were two small exhibitions set up in buildings near the winery.

In in piccolo borgo che lentamente viene recuperato si trova la Cantina degli Alpini. Locale semplice ottimamente ristrutturato. Accolti con una gentilezza estrema e con il sorriso. Antipasto misto con formaggi e salumi della valle e un ottima insalatina di cavolo rosso: ottimo! Polenta in tre versioni con materia prima eccellente Sughi di accompagnamento buoni e leggeri ( forse soli i funghi leggermente ...scipiti. Un bunet i.pareghiabile e una ottima torta Provato il vino Avana' in bottiglia. Da vigneti autoctoni e uva raccolta in alta valle. Buono e asprigno ma è giusto provarlo e a un prezzo molto corretto. Servizio rapido e molto cortese e sempre col sorriso. Prezzo estremamente corretto. 30 euro per il pasto con vino e caffè.. Ci tornerò anche perché vista e paese meritano davvero

I had never been to Eclause and I have to thank the friends who advised me to visit this beautiful hamlet and have lunch at the Z cantine degli Alpini. Courtesy and kindness reign supreme! Excellent dishes prepared with care and love. Really good starters Polenta in various "versions" that it deserves. And what about the bunet and the cake? We wanted to try the wine of the Valley (Havana) and it was worth it. It's certainly not a Barolo but it accompanied the food very well. Coffee with mocha and... lots of smiles. Definitely correct price. We will be back! PS. These days in a place a stone's throw from the cellar there is a splendid photographic exhibition.

Found almost by chance, this village seems suspended in time.... Well done to the owners who are reevaluating it!!! We had dinner and were satisfied from every point of view, polenta, meat and desserts made like Once with excellent ingredients, and with a beautiful cellar of wines and bitters!!! The idea of ​​serving coffee at the table with the moka is brilliant!!!!!! We finish the walk in the village in style with a star-studded sky

Non vi aspettate tovaglie di seta, ma gentilezza e cortesia. Ottimo punto di partenza o arrivo per gite a piedi o in moto Un borgo in cui il tempo sembra essersi fermato Si beve solo acqua della fonte Menù semplice ma buono naturalmente spicca la polenta servita in 4 modi. Occhio al parcheggio perché si arriva solo a piedi. 25 euro vino e dolce compresi (bis inclusi)

20/01/2025: For years, when I want to have a nice meal of good, genuine food, I've been coming here. All homemade dishes with excellent quality products. Hospitality and service at the top. Excellent panorama. Advised.
29/12/2024: Typical Piedmontese trattoria. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a simple aperitif. The starters are good and the homemade first courses are excellent. The Tajarin with porcini mushrooms and the agnolotti with roast sauce are absolutely recommended. Friendly and helpful service. The only flaw: if you have to go to the bathroom, ask carefully for information to avoid finding yourself in a dark room guarded by a black Rothvailer (as happened to us).

Trattoria Del Colapasta

26/01/2025: Restaurant with many ups and downs. Among the positive aspects I would point out the truly impeccable service, the quality of the raw materials and the classy and well-furnished restaurant. Among the negative ones I would certainly include the price, which is too high, the cuisine in my opinion a little too pretentious and tending towards salty and a menu that is not too varied. The graphics of the menus should also be improved together with the quality of the desserts, which are definitely not up to the standard of a restaurant of this kind. I'm giving one star less for the obnoxious envelope trick. In December we were given a sealed envelope that would allow us to 'win' a secret prize if we returned in January. At the end of the January dinner, when it was time to pay and open the envelopes, I discovered that I had won a free glass of wine that I could use at my third dinner. Which won't be there!
18/01/2025: I went with my family for an anniversary lunch with a predefined menu. Everything was as promised. The food is fresh and of good quality, the place is clean, the cake is spectacular. But I want to put a very positive note on the service. The waiter who looked after us was really attentive to everything and very professional. Well done, congratulations!
