Truly a wonderful experience!! First of all, the service is unmatched; the waiters are helpful and polite, even in their manner of speaking. The food was truly excellent. We had fish dishes, pasta, and risotto, both very generous with seafood. The risotto was cooked very well, and the chef was very kind, offering me a second choice of first courses since I didn't know which to choose! The homemade desserts (you can tell) were very good. We'll definitely be back!!

Congratulations to all the staff! It's not often you find such helpful staff at 10:00 PM on a Saturday night, with 22 people arriving on short notice.

Wonderful experience-we had lunch and it was so good we returned for dinner!
The lunch of tricolore tortelli was delicious! Desert also… off the hook! Everything looked fantastic and I was able to snap a photo of the fresh fish and the calamari…
Then was the dinner the steak was one of the absolute best I have ever had… Charcoal grilled to perfection and the caprese bruschetta was also a hit!
Obviously they use the best ingredients from the region of Emilia Romano.

"A must-visit in Reggio Emilia! I'm often here for work, and Canasta was a wonderful discovery. The owner and all the staff are wonderful, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. Even though the place is always packed (a sign of great quality!), the welcome is always top-notch. From the pizza to the meat and fish dishes, the quality is top-notch. The desserts are especially noteworthy: strictly homemade and delicious! Highly recommended!"

A delicious first course of tagliatelle with seafood, followed by a fried tortilla and calamari main course that was sent back because it was inedible. The fish was badly defrosted and rubbery, and the chickpea flour batter was inedible. I've marked it in my diary, never again.
