Camponeschi In Roma

I dined at Ristorante Camponeschi 8 years ago when I last visited Rome and remembered that it was a wonderful experience. This past Sunday I was lucky enough to return and my high expectations were surpassed by the incredibly well executed food, friendly staff and comfy ambiance. Turns out that it was the owner who took my order and he could not have been more accommodating and professional. I had chosen a bottle of wine and saw a look on the owner's face that prompted me to ask if he had another suggestion. He explained that the wine I had selected was a bit too bold for what I had ordered and suggested another bottle...even though it was 30€ less than my original choice. That's a sign of not a good but great restaurant. I could not have been more pleased or better fed and the genuinely warm expressions of thanks from the entire staff as I left was quite touching. This is clearly an establishment that is justifiably proud of the experience they create. Return the respect by making reservations.

Ristorante glorioso che si è saputo rinnovare e riadattare ai tempi moderni rimanendo tre passi avanti ai suoi competitor! Ottimo il nido agli scampi e eccezionali il piatto di crudi e l insalata di mare. Una garanzia. Impiattamento e gusto sublimi. Tutto è in armonia per coccolare e far sentire il cliente a proprio agio. Staff e proprietari impeccabili.

Best restaurant with the best owner and staff. Eat here to dine and drink with locals and have the most amazing food in Rome.

Really good restaurant. Expensive but it’s worth the food.
