Camping Lou Dahu In Canosio

Beautiful place, surrounded by greenery. The pitch was large and perfect for our van. Clean bathrooms, very friendly staff, and we ate deliciously. A peaceful place, highly recommended!

I visited this campsite two years ago and always forgot to write a review, but it is better late than never because this place is more than great! It offers a wonderful, authentic local experience. The owners are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We also ate at the campsite and opted for the local dishes, which were absolutely fantastic. The only unexpected thing was that you are required to pay for your meal immediately after eating, rather than settling the bill upon checkout. However, that was just a minor detail in an otherwise great stay. I highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a friendly and authentic spot!

We just spent three wonderful days hiking the Gardetta loop and a trail. The campsite managers are incredibly welcoming, intelligent, and kind. The campsite is in a charming location, clean, and well-maintained. The pitch was spacious and had a great view. The staff were professional, no-frills, and very quiet. It was beautiful, we'll be back!

A magnificent location, spotlessly clean and functional restrooms, and spacious, separate tent and camper pitches. Finally, a special mention goes to the friendly management, always ready to accommodate your needs.

Super clean campsite, excellent location, quiet, very well-kept and with many extras available... honestly I don't understand why someone has given negative reviews, probably because of the owners who are certainly not as friendly as our Romagnoli... but the campsite is SUPER

Today we left the campsite after a whole week at Lou Dahu. Normally we stay one or two nights at a campsite and then we move on, but this time we decided to get some rest and stay for a hole week. And what a week it has been!! The owners were really nice and kind, with a clear vision how to keep it a nice campsite. We travel with a Land Rover/rooftoptent and what a great area it is for this kind of travel. Amazing nature for hikes! Some open gravel mountain roads (check internet for right information). You can visit Dronero for the culture and food. We really liked that you could order bread everyday at the campsite and that there was a small minimarket and restaurant. The supermarkets are quite far, but because of that you feel really part of nature and because of the service of the campsite it is still comfortable. We were happy to stay for a week and we might come back in the future! Thank you Sandra and Roland for the stay!

A dreamlike spot in a beautiful valley.

The staff are very kind and hospitable the place is pretty spacious great for playing, relaxing and sightseeing. Restrooms are very clean and spacious as well. There’s a bar where you can have breakfast, ice creams. Pretty sure we’re going back again for a longer stay.

If you love peace and quiet and nature, this is the perfect place for you. A fantastic starting point for cycling and hiking. The campsite is located in a beautiful high valley; it's a small site with about 20 pitches. The main building houses a small market with regional products and a restaurant. You can pre-order baguettes and croissants for breakfast. Everything is very well-maintained and beautifully landscaped. The hosts are incredibly friendly and always ready to help. We felt completely at home there.

This campsite is a gem. Everything is very clean, and the managers are very kind and helpful. The food is excellent, and the views are stunning. A pleasant discovery in the area, definitely worth a visit. The campsite is definitely worth the money.
