Camping Acqua Dolce In Levanto

We felt like we were on a film set. The wonderful Italian atmosphere combined with the eco-approach and layout of the pitches create a pleasant atmosphere. I found the sanitary facilities very clean and unparalleled. Really a big compliment. The only downside was that it took a very long time for the shower water to get warm. Quite a bit of water was lost in that. But in the end we had a good and pleasant shower. I also liked the reception. They walked us to the spot. We read some negative reactions about that, but we don't recognize that. Some were businesslike, but we got everything arranged quickly and well. We will come back when we are in the area. May 2025: now for the second time at the campsite. Unfortunately very busy. We have a spot for 1 night, tomorrow we hope for good news. We think the prices have risen a lot. That could have been a bit less. Arrived late and departure is already at 11 am. But we will make the most of it 👍🏼

Thanks to the terraces, many people get lost on the square, but the sanitary facilities were only partially clean. Unfortunately, the “groundskeeper” was very unfriendly towards us. After a day trip the entire row was without power, since we reported it it was our fault. In the meantime our cable was simply removed. No insight. Therefore unfortunately a bad aftertaste and left early.

The campsite is excellent and very beautifully laid out. The camping pitches differ in size and location; In some places you really have to maneuver carefully to get your camper parked. When booking, please clearly indicate the size of your camper, so that they can take this into account. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy, and everything on the campsite is well maintained. We enjoyed a walk through the charming town of Levanto, where we had a delicious meal in several cozy restaurants. From Levanto you can walk through a series of old railway tunnels to nearby villages — a fun and accessible way to explore the area. We also went by train to the Cinque Terre and La Spezia. From La Spezia it is about 20 minutes by bus to the picturesque Portovenere, definitely worth a visit! The campsite offers everything you need and is wonderfully quiet. A tip from us: use the long garden hoses available to fill your water tank — there are many well-distributed water points on site. One thing to keep in mind for light sleepers: every 15 minutes you can hear the church bells loud and clear on the campsite. The price for this campsite is absolutely worth it. It is a beautiful place with plenty of opportunities for excursions in the area. We will definitely come back!

A good, practical campsite for visiting the Cinq Terre. Very close to the city center, the beach and the train station. The pitches and toilets are very good, but the campsite lacks little “extras”: play areas for children, possibility of buying food, etc.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Acqua Dolce campsite, in a tent. The campsite is very close to the sea, located right at the start of some paths including those towards the Cinque Terre. The campsite is very clean, full of trees that provide the perfect shade for the summer heat. All the necessary services are present (laundry, drinking water, many bathrooms and showers, possibility of charging smartphones for free) and the staff is very capable of advising, sports activities, food tasting and excellent wine. We are really happy to have been there and hope to return soon

The campsite is located less than five minutes walk from the sea, all without having to cross tracks or a road, as is usual on the Ligurian coast. The location is truly enchanting, surrounded by vegetation and with attention to every detail. The bathrooms are very normal but definitely clean at all times of the day. The proximity to the Cinque Terre is the plus that cannot be overlooked. We travel in a caravan and, although the campsite is terraced, don't let us be scared. It's more than manageable. Experience to be repeated at the first opportunity.
