It is a restaurant in the countryside just outside the town of Tuscania, where you can taste typical dishes from the Viterbo area, made with zero kilometer products because they come from the owners' family business or from other companies in the area.
The place is pleasant, even if a little small, but it also has a closed veranda and, especially on nice days, also large umbrellas covering the tables. Large parking available.
Added to the high quality of the dishes is the kindness and courtesy of the owners which make the environment very familiar.
We always gladly return to the Romitorio for all this.

Starting from the concept that it is not at all obvious to eat well and feel good.... A very pleasant discovery while wandering around on a motorbike, they welcomed us with a smile and friendliness even though there were 15 minutes left until closing.
Good food, excellent service.
It's a shame that the beauty of wandering around on a motorbike is precisely the wandering around, otherwise we would go back next Sunday

Quando passiamo da queste parti, questo posto è una tappa obbligatoria. Siamo sempre entusiasti di questa cucina così ricca di piatti locali e di gran livello. Dai primi con pasta fresca fatta in casa, ai secondi (una squisitezza tra le tante le lumache), al dolce. Ci torneremo...

Excellent environment with a revisited and tasty typical cuisine. Excellent fast and friendly service. A farmhouse not far from Viterbo that amazed us with the quality of the dishes. Absolutely recommended.
