Donnafugata Castle is a great place for a delicious lunch or dinner! Excellent ingredients and condiments, served with warmth and professionalism. I recommend the gnocchi and roast beef!
The desserts are limited.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, drawn by the large tree under which the tables are set, a welcome coolness on a hot day. We were greeted by a friendly waiter who described the various dishes on the menu and convinced us to try the handmade ricotta ravioli topped with pork sauce...a delight we'll remember for a long time! Highly recommended!

We went to the restaurant that is in front of the Castello di Donnafugata and ended up going two days in a row! On the first day, we had a beautiful table with a view of the countryside, shaded under a large tree. We ordered the beef entrecôte and homemade fresh pasta, and everything was truly delicious. We also had a white wine from Gibellina, Guerriero, which was really excellent. The service was outstanding, the chef was both funny and very helpful!.
We went back again on Sunday when it was packed, so for Sundays, it’s better to book in advance. On Saturdays, there’s usually no need to reserve. Even on Sunday, though, we still managed to get a table. Just a small tip: if you would like to tip then tips are given in cash.

Good food and a quiet atmosphere near Donnafugata Castle. The first courses are delicious, including the Sicilian-style busiate and ricotta ravioli with meat sauce. Welcoming staff and excellent prices.
