Restaurant with delicious dishes at reasonable prices. The environment a bit noisy.

Very nice food and wine as well as very helpful people. It is a small shop, a family business, well cared for.

I've been there several times and it's one of my favorite places because I'm sure I'll find good quality food and an excellent welcome. Staff attentive to every need. The pinse and cunzatu bread are excellent.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Calicenero restaurant and I must say that it was a truly pleasant experience. We decided to try the pinza, a dish that came highly recommended, and we were not disappointed. The caliper was perfect: crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and with fresh and tasty ingredients. Another point in favor of Calicenero was the staff. We were welcomed with kindness and warmth, making us feel immediately at ease. The service was quick and attentive, with the waiters always ready to satisfy our every request and advise us on the house specialities. The atmosphere of the place is welcoming and relaxed, which makes Calicenero the ideal place both for a family dinner and for an evening with friends. In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food and friendly service. I can not wait to come back!

A wonderful restaurant with a cosy feel and so many options on the menu! We took a long time to decide as everything sounded delicious, but the waitress was very helpful in suggesting dishes and local wine that we'd like. Great food and service, definitely visit if you are in Catania.

It's a bit of a hidden place (doesn't look like much from outside) but definitly worth looking for. The food is very good & innovative. It might not be an expensive Gourmet place but still a 5 star experience. The food is very tasty & the service is great. We were not sure if we would order to much food, as they don't do starters & main courses in a traditional way but rather construct the dishes as you order them. We took the waitress advice and my son & I shared a gnocchi dish before having our separate tartar dishes. It would have been to much food with 2 full dishes (defending on how much you can eat of course). The wife had some cheese fondue, which she loved. Also the wine was very nice, so all in all: a very recomendable place.

Its a shame, it does not look like a Restaurant from Outside, because its a little bid hidden and it does not have any tables outside, but the food was incredible. The service was in top, it is really small but beautiful inside. So overall i Will highly recommend this place.

È sempre un piacere cenare da Calicenero. Il menù è vasto e le portate sono tutte squisite, dagli antipasti ai primi, ai secondi fini alle pinse. Il personale inoltre è cordiale e gentile. Lo consiglio a tutti
