Calarossa Caffè In Siracusa

This became our go-to morning breakfast place on our recent holiday. Lovely friendly owners. I suspect you would have to try quite hard to find a bad coffee on Italy, but I particularly enjoyed the cappuccino from here, especially with the sea view. My partner really enjoyed the brioche/granita in the mornings, but I must admit I can't get on board with pudding for breakfast! Luckily they do a range of toasted sandwiches - all the ones I tried were delicious.

What a great find. Really delicious granita for both of us. We tried the prickly pear which was a surprisingly tasty choice, and my husband had almond and cinnamon which was so unusual and delicious. The brioche bun was light and warm and had a hint of orange peel flavour. Wonderful place. And the staff were great

The granita was probably the best I've had in Sicily. The view was incredible. The coffee was wonderful. The service was very friendly. What more could you want? Unless it just didn't end there 😂

Wonderful view of the sea and part of the picturesque buildings of Ortigia. Variety of bruschetta and toast. Only a little uncomfortable in the morning when the sun is intense and annoying. Find a table with shade

Fantastic! We came here for breakfast every day during our stay in Ortigia. The coffee is excellent, and so are the croissants with pistachios or cream! This place is highly recommended.
