They charge you 20 cents more for the foam and charge 1.20. While in the same street you pay €1 for a miniature croissant and a foamed coffee.

A corner of kindness, courtesy and quality products... a bar in the center of Catania which, with the professionalism of Melina and Sonia, makes my breakfasts and lunches when I have the chance and time a beautiful and pleasant experience... I recommend it to everyone

GENTILISSIMAS, 1000 service! We ate the best brioche in Italy with a lemon flavor, a strawberry pie handmade by Nonna of the family, WONDERFUL coffee and orange juice. We were extremely well served and looked after. We love it! Thank you very much!

For me this is the best coffee in Catania. Not only the coffee quality is great (cappuccino) but also the pastries that are homemade and not industrial. Lastly, the two ladies attending are very nice

Very nice place, good music, places inside and outside as well. The hot chocolate is very thick, like pudding, but not too sweet, perfect to pair it with Brioche. (hot chocolate 3€, Brioche 1€, service 0,5€ in November 2024)

Nice place to sit away from the main street although you are still on a busy street. Coffee was ok and food was reasonable. All at a good price.

The staff was kind although forgot one item. The food however was very mediocre. We had brioche (stale) and bruschetta (mostly greasy on sweet bread) that were both unsatisfactory. The coffee (decaf) was also far from amazing. I find the place overrated based on the comments. The street is noisy but still fine for a quick bite.

Mi sono fermato per fare colazione in attesa che apriva la camere di commercio, ho preso una granita mandorla tostata macchiata cioccolato, e una brioche, di pessima qualità, sembrava ghiaccio con essenza, una delle peggiori che abbia mai mangiato, da evitare per granite. Il resto delle colazioni non era male per un caffè o un cappuccino vanno bene, se non fumi purtroppo ti devi sorbire i maleducati che fumano i posti a sedere non sono distanti fra di l'oro.

11/02/2025: Very good time in a neat and tasteful setting with professional and attentive staff. Out of the ordinary and far from tourist clichés. We recommend, not to be missed...wink for the French!!!
10/02/2025: Very pleasant surprise! The staff is really courteous, Danilo was really super, he let us taste an excellent wine and recommended both the dishes and places to visit in Catania and surrounding areas! Regarding the food, everything was truly perfect! Pasta alla norma very good but the Gnocchetti are exceptional, the best dish eaten in Catania. Congratulations and see you next time! Ps: we weren't able to return for dinner due to rain so we ordered two sandwiches with salmon tartare, truly exceptional!
