A nice break in windy Trieste in January

Delicious food, good coffee, aperol

A nice beer (ichnusa non filtrata) in the shade on the terrace during the extreme heat. Served with two kinds of chips. Absolutely delicious!

The prices on the menu didn’t correspond with the prices on the bill, because there was 1€ added to every item, which we were not aware about beforehand. But the prices were still good, Aperol being 5,50€ and pasta dishes 9,50€. You get a bowl of complementary chips as well. The waiter was very impatient and slightly rude, but food and drinks still arrived quickly. The atmosphere was nice because it was in the middle of the pedestrian zone.
