Excellent Milanese trattoria with fixed lunch menu

"Sincere" trattoria, with traditional and other typically Italian dishes. The environment is very noisy (and smoky), especially for the tables overlooking the kitchen. Unfortunately we couldn't try the latter because they were largely finished when we arrived (1.15pm), but the former are simple and honest for the price offered (definitely attractive and affordable for Milan). We also liked the desserts! I recommend booking because it is very popular.

MI capita di frequentare questa trattoria qualche volta a pranzo: sempre affollata, un tempo da da muratori, imbianchini, ora da pensionati e gente che lavora negli uffici e negozi attorno. Ambiente semplice di una volta e pulito; servizio veloce svolto dai titolari con l’aiuto di una cameriera. Cucina molto casalinga e basilare con una buona scelta di piatti in buona parte della cucina milanese. Il rapporto qualità (media)/prezzo (economico) è più che accettabile.

Excellent old school trattoria, wish there were more

This is a real trattoria, like those of the past. Stopped by for a business lunch. I didn't think there were still places like this in Milan, where you can have lunch at an honest price and with traditional dishes. I will happily return
