80's style trattoria, family atmosphere, a certainty

I think it's one of my favorite places for lunch. Far from any commercial logic.

For a restaurant in the Piazza del Duomo, the price-performance ratio is not bad, the food is good, and the service is attentive, although it takes about thirty minutes for the dishes to arrive.

Historic trattoria. Chef Alessandro, owner with his wife Anna, worked at Savini for years. Excellent home cooking. Unfortunately, it's only open for lunch.

A restaurant for workers, you spend little and the food is fair.

Business lunch. When you enter you really breathe the ancient Milan. Excellent shin with potatoes!!!

Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The quality/price ratio was unmatched. Absolutely highly recommended!!! 🔝

Attracted by the outside sign that seemed very vintage today I wanted to try this restaurant for lunch. They offer a fixed-price work menu (first course, second course with side dish) for 12 euros. But don't think they make up for it with the drinks. Mineral water (half a liter in a glass!) for 1.5 euros and a quarter of Barbera dell'Oltrepò Pavese for 2 euros, coffee at the canonical 1.20 euros like a backbone taken at the counter of a bar. Well, the ragout I tried was excellent (perhaps the pasta should have been drained a little more) and the shin too (not much meat attached though). Full marks! With good reason, frequented by workers, students and elderly people of the place!

Our favorite place for lunch in Milan. We go there whenever we can and whenever we have friends visiting Milan we take them there; everyone loves it! Classic and authentic cuisine at a really good price. The staff is amazing!
