Attracted by the outside sign that seemed very vintage today I wanted to try this restaurant for lunch. They offer a fixed-price work menu (first course, second course with side dish) for 12 euros. But don't think they make up for it with the drinks. Mineral water (half a liter in a glass!) for 1.5 euros and a quarter of Barbera dell'Oltrepò Pavese for 2 euros, coffee at the canonical 1.20 euros like a backbone taken at the counter of a bar. Well, the ragout I tried was excellent (perhaps the pasta should have been drained a little more) and the shin too (not much meat attached though). Full marks! With good reason, frequented by workers, students and elderly people of the place!

Our favorite place for lunch in Milan. We go there whenever we can and whenever we have friends visiting Milan we take them there; everyone loves it! Classic and authentic cuisine at a really good price. The staff is amazing!

Taberna típica milanesa. Donde se puede ver a la propietaria con su madre y su hija que dirigen este bonito lugar con muy buen precio por la calidad de la comida que encontrarás.
El almuerzo de negocios es de 12 , 00 € el sábado también + vino 2 , 00 € y café 1 , 10 €

Hidden in a little street near Piola, a very unsocial place, absolutely not Instagrammable, but we like it immensely that way.
It's all exactly like it used to be: fast, direct, without a lot of unnecessary frills and focused on substance.
For example the service. "What are you eating? First courses first."
A risotto and spaghetti with meat sauce. In less than two minutes everything is served at the table, strictly made of wood and set with paper tablecloths and napkins, just as the old school of Italian trattoria wants.
This time we'll tell you the price straight away: €12 for a first course, a second course and a side dish. No, it's not a joke... in 2025 something like this is still possible in Milan!
Let's move on to the dishes: the risotto is simple and effective, without frills, the spaghetti with ragù balanced and without excess. To finish, a steak with a side of fennel. Essential, but visible to the eye (and in the era of globalization we believe it is a real panacea).
What can I say??? …Milan is a great Milan!

Una delle pochissime vere trattorie rimaste in città.

9 per il locale. Semplice, pulito, con qualche decennio alla spalle, giustamente chiassoso e un po’ rustico. Bellissimo.
Atmosfera tanto informale quanto piacevole.
9 per il cibo. Buono il risotto con i funghi e buona anche la cassœla. Per la verità la cassœla era un po’ brodosa e non molto ricca, ma a quel prezzo non si può chiedere di più o di meglio.
7 per il servizio. Un po’ lento ma cordiale.
Eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo.
Ci tornerei? Sì.
Lo consiglierei? Assolutamente sì.
