We were at a very special place today. The food, ambience and service were exceptional. We felt welcome and enjoyed our stay very much. What really makes a difference is the fact that you do not just get the "usual" tipica cucina romana, but also dishes from Puglia. I herewith declare "il tarallo" as being one of our three favorite restaurants in Trastevere.

A very welcoming location and professional, yet extremely kind and affable staff. The menu is clear, with a majority of traditional Roman dishes. Fresh appetizers and very inviting first courses... Spectacular Roman-style veal strips, and mouth-watering homemade desserts. The menu also has some Apulian influences (definitely worth exploring in the future given the quality of the products). I'll be back because it's absolutely worth it. It deserves a lot of consideration.

A great place to eat, close to other crowded restaurants. We hadn't booked, but after a 10-minute wait we were warmly welcomed. The restaurant was quiet and the food was excellent.

Absolutely delicious food, the calamari fritters with zucchini were simply amazing, the pasta was impeccable, and the service was incredibly kind and attentive. A wonderful experience ❤️

We walked around Trastevere for a while and this restaurant really had it all for us. Besides the delicious food, the service was honest and welcoming compared to other restaurants in the area. The restaurant is also in a street that is a little less busy which makes it more cosy compared to other places. I really recommend this place! Make sure to bring some cash so you can give a tip.

Excelente lugar no muy lejos de mi hotel. Iba allí a tomar un café y un sándwich de salami por las mañanas. Es realmente un ambiente muy agradable. Te quedas en el mostrador tomando tu café o puedes pedirlo para llevar. El café es excelente y el personal es amable y servicial. Algunos hablan inglés o al menos lo suficiente para conseguir tu café. ¡Muy buenos precios! Esto es una ganga.

18/12/2025: We found this restaurant while searching on Google Maps for places to eat near our itinerary. We decided to go because of the good reviews, and we weren't wrong! Delicious dishes, generous portions, and a comfortable atmosphere. We ordered a Carbonara, a Capricciosa pizza, and a salad. Everything was high quality and very reasonably priced. The only downside is that we discovered it on our last day in Rome. Highly recommended.
17/12/2025: An amazing place to eat! Everything was delicious, and Alberto's service was excellent and his recommendations were spot on. I will definitely come back.
