A welcome stop with a surprising effect was made at the Caffè Trattoria Stazione in Pessinetto where, for 18 euros each, we savored excellent local cuisine. (menu price during the week for lunch 14 euros per person) My wife and I sat down near the wood-burning fireplace and chose from the day's menu a cheese risotto, two tripe and beans and two bergamot creams of truly sublime delicacy and refinement. The kind and service-minded owners made us feel at home. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday lunch and dinner are available upon reservation and à la carte. A restaurant we highly recommend! It is worth the trip to discover and taste the flavors of Piedmontese cuisine and beyond between tradition and innovation.
