The food was incredible !!!!! As we were eating our sandwiches we were already planning our next visit - the crunch on the bread plus the tuna was perfection. We licked our plates clean. Can’t wait to be back. Also the service was prompt and nice.

Aperol has more ice and water. The waiters clear the table so that the place can vacate as soon as possible.

Not a bad place for an evening drink. Beware their live music, though. It is playing at a deafening volume, which is very unfortunate, because for the most part, it is music you would not want to hear.

Fantastic place in the heart of Agrigento's historic center! Caffè San Pietro is truly a cool spot, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the city's atmosphere. The salad was fresh and delicious, made with quality ingredients. The service also deserves special mention: the staff was very friendly, attentive, and always smiling, making us feel at ease right away. A great combination of good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and a top location. Highly recommended!

Walking through the streets of Agrigento's historic center, we were drawn to this welcoming place with a lovely outdoor seating area and good music. We enjoyed an excellent gourmet salad accompanied by a delicious Spritz. Highly recommended.

Good vibe here. We had some drinks and got some mini pizzas and chips with it, nice! Friendly service and a good dj casually playing some vinyl records!

Ristorante Pizzeria Lo Zenzero

15/05/2026: Pleasantly family-friendly atmosphere and efficient service. Quality pizzas, attention to detail in the cuisine!
01/05/2026: We had lunch in Racalmuto, the birthplace of Leonardo Sciascia and the birthplace of Gaetano Savatteri, where we took a bus trip on a beautiful Sunday in April. It's truly a rich town for tourism, because you'd never imagine a place with just 7,500 inhabitants has so much to tell and see. Lo Zenzero Restaurant was once a favorite haunt of actors and singers who performed at the beautiful Teatro Regina Margherita, just steps from the restaurant. Our assessment of the lunch was positive, and the owner, Mr. Andrea, and his young staff deserve encouragement, because those who stay in town and don't emigrate to find work elsewhere demonstrate courage and a desire to succeed despite the myriad difficulties faced by the people of this land... Thanks to Mr. Andrea, his wife who prepared the meal, and the girls who served us at the tables with kindness and great availability! Warm greetings from Alcamo!

Pasticceria Melilli

09/11/2025: So much sweetness, so many smiles and so much quality 💕
09/11/2025: We arrived from Agrigento with high expectations for this pastry shop and café, drawn by its reputation. The experience was overall positive, although there were some areas for improvement. Positives: The reserved parking is convenient and appreciated. The coffee service was good, but the croissants had their ups and downs: the jam was delicious, but the dough seemed average—probably not homemade, or at least not convincing. The mini croissants we ordered later were very good, however. The quality-price ratio was fair: for what we consumed, we spent relatively little. Areas for improvement: The service had some issues. Upon arrival, my girlfriend took a free table with two chairs, but by the time she had time to browse the window, one chair had disappeared (probably taken by another customer). Left with only one chair, we asked if it was possible to dry one of the outside ones that had been soaked by the morning rain, but we were told it would still be damp. We decided to eat at the counter. Meanwhile, a table became available, and after asking permission, we were able to take a chair from there to complete our seating. Furthermore, since we already had croissants in hand from the counter, we sat down to enjoy them, but the coffee and latte macchiato arrived only after about 5-6 minutes, when we were almost finished with our croissants. Conclusion: Coming from Agrigento, we were perhaps expecting a little more in terms of quality, but the quality-price ratio is balanced for both the products and the service offered. A decent pastry shop, without any particular excellence, but honest overall.
