Caffe Rainer San Zanobi In Firenze

I've been there twice. Wide choice of pastas, more common and less so. The cappuccino is good.

We went here for breakfast and ordered coffee, a cream sphere (made with brioche dough) and a Sacher cake. I'm so sorry but the desserts didn't convince us and we found the quality below expectations. The coffee was average, nothing special. The place is quite simple, but lacks a welcoming atmosphere. In some places I also found it a little neglected. Positive note: the staff is friendly and the service was fast. Wheelchair accessible.

The cappuccino flavor is very good. The cannolé is also chewy and delicious. Good price too

We had a really great breakfast. The brioches are amazing. Also tasted the cannelles, delicious. A welcoming place with Austrian specialties.

Too bad there are few places available!!

We chose this little cafe/pastry shop for breakfast. Low prices and more than honest for the quality of the products offered. The soy cappuccino is highly recommended, light and tasty!

Piccolo locale a Firenze con posti a sedere e caffetteria. C'è una variegata scelta di dolci dalle brioches ai coni dolci a i Pan brioche ecc.. Non male e prezzo adeguato.

Rudolf Rainer è un cuoco appassionato. La sua pasticceria, colma di infinite prelibatezze, ti accoglie con grande calore. Circondato dalla sua famiglia e da giovani collaboratrici che lo seguono con passione e attenzione, sforna continuamente novità. La sua cucina non è solo austriaca, perché lui sperimenta e si appassiona e il risultato è sempre delizioso. Viviamo lì vicino e una volta ci andavamo per la colazione nella tarda mattinata. Ora lo scegliamo spesso anche per il pranzo, per il pane, (ha aperto da un anno anche il forno) o solo per un caffè e i canelés, suo cavallo di battaglia, più buoni che in Francia. Time slows down and the scents are felt better. a coffee that Florence doesn't deserve and in fact we are on an off-circuit street. The impeccable desserts are expensive but plentiful. The bread is new. Many people make bread but what a disappointment after 2 days it dries out or often has an acidic taste. You can taste Rainer's bread all the way through, it doesn't dry out, it stales.
