Caffè Novecento In Roma

The handmade tiramisu and coffee was a treat. A bit expensive but in a very nice spot and a very beautiful street.

We were in Arezzo to see the markets, we were incredibly cold, we were looking for a nice tea and we came across this beautiful, very small but really well looked after bar, the guy who was there was very good. Excellent choice of teas and desserts

I made a small pit stop at this café in the heart of Rome, ordering a cinnamon roll and a coffee. The price was high, but justified by the location and the quality of the products: the cinnamon roll was truly excellent, well presented and delicious. However, a negative note concerns the bathroom: although it was clean, the key was missing and the doors were broken, which created unpleasant situations. From a restaurant of this level, right in the center, I expect greater attention to detail. A shame, because the experience would have been perfect.

In the late afternoon we came across this cafe in the center. A place with a retro and Art Nouveau style with a very welcoming internal room. The choice of desserts is good and the selection of teas is equally good. The cinnamon rolls served with custard are unmissable. The service was excellent, the boy who served us was particularly courteous.

Amazing hidden gem. Great pastry. Also, every few moments what seemed to be a best friend stopped in and the place lit up. Such a great place to relax and enjoy after a long day of touring and shopping.

Il Caffè Novecento è un luogo magico, un salottino nel centro di Roma. L’atmosfera è molto tranquilla, le persone non vengono fermate in strada ma lasciate libere di leggere il menu. Quando siamo entrate nel locale, Silvia, l’elegante proprietaria, ci ha accolto con un sorriso e ci ha detto “Buongiorno. Vi stavamo aspettando”. Abbiamo ordinato una lasagnetta al carciofo e ancora un carciofo alla romana. Cibo leggero, buono, di qualità, si evince la cura nella preparazione dei piatti. Ci vengono servite delle schiacciatine e del pane con la farina a base di grano saraceno (spero di ricordare il cereale giusto). Ci portano in tavola un olio umbro, prodotto artigianalmente, di un colore verde felice di olive felici. Silvia offre a mia figlia, gratuitamente, un assaggio di crema allo zabaione con dei biscottini alla cannella. Tutto delizioso. Eleonora, la sua aiutante ai tavoli, si occupa di noi con la stessa attenzione e la stessa classe. Un luogo da frequentare almeno “una volta o tutta la vita”... se si ha la fortuna di vivere a Roma.

Three herbal teas and biscuits with old friends, the service was a bit slow (we waited 20 minutes to order and there weren't many people) but the place and what we drank and ate were excellent:) I'll be back

We went there for having cup of tea and reading a book, staff were really friendly and nice , the atmosphere was great . Menu was great, so many different things and prices were reasonable. They played nice music too.

The "Caffè Novecento" is located in the historic center of Rome, Rione VI (Parione), in a period building in Via del Governo Vecchio, 12 where a large entrance framed with travertine and a low arch stands out. Upon entering you are struck by an elegant venue, with particularly refined furnishings, including characteristic elements such as a large, finely crafted wooden rocking horse. In the morning during breakfast I had the opportunity to appreciate an excellent coffee with a croissant. Looking around I could see that there is a vast assortment of desserts. The service is of a superior level, for example between the cup and the saucer a shaped paper napkin has been placed, a trifle if you want, but which denotes the attention to detail. There are also tables outside, the staff is competent and friendly.

Parada aquí para el café y pastel de la tarde después de un largo paseo. Excelente servicio y comida / bebidas. Me gustaría visitar de nuevo.
