Caffe New York In Viareggio

I went there for lunch a week ago with my girlfriend: excellent food, delicious carbonara, and very kind waiters. Recommended!

I recommend it for lunch. Fast service. Good food, club sandwiches, salads, etc. The only downside is that the tables are a little too small for four people.

A lovely spot for breakfast, brunch, or a quick lunch. Small, but well-prepared and tasty dishes. Sit in the sun or on the veranda overlooking the sea.

I asked the waitress if it was possible to split the bill, and she said yes. At the counter, I reiterated my desire to split the bill (so the total divided by 2, very simple) and specified that I wanted to pay in cash. In a very pedantic and impolite manner, the cashier said, "If you could tell me how many of you there are..." when two minutes earlier he had personally said we could split, and there were only two of us in front of the counter, which didn't imply there were more than one of us. Perhaps a little politeness and kindness wouldn't hurt, since I expressed my request very politely. A smile doesn't cost much, and politeness even less. :)

Excellent bar, wonderful food, especially the two chefs, Carmine and Angie, who were very kind. When I asked about the menu, the seafood carbonara was excellent. I will definitely be back.

It used to be a much more iconic and trendy bar and pub. Now it's simply a place where they serve aperitifs with chips and peanuts.

Same owner as Galliano Quinti, same excellent pastry shop but in a quieter and more orderly context
