We found this place just wondering around. Seems like a touristy area ish. But the service we excellent and the food was Molto Bene. We ordered the Pastas and they made substitutions for us. Caprese excellent. The Cesar salad was eh. We have found salads our whole trip to be an after thought so I don’t knock them for this.

Fantastic service! Similar to other comments, surprised this is only a 3.9! Note the name needs changed to Osteria (to reflect the actual restaurant)

We tried the salmon, lasagne, mussels, fennel and peach salad, carbonara and the ribs and potatoes. All were delicious. Even though this is on a piazza and stays open all day, don’t worry that they cater to tourists trying to eat at 4:30p. Edward our sever took great care of us. We would return. Here’s a delicious wine for $28 euro (see pic).

The food was great and the tiramisu is simply amazing, but what made the place outstanding was the amazing service by every one of the servers!

We ate very well, bronze drawn spaghetti with absolutely fantastic clams and mussels followed by salmon, in short after 3 days in Como I can say I ate very well 👍👍👍👍👍☘️☘️☘️. Highly recommended.

08/09/2024: The pizza: good, the manager: very kind, the price: good complimentary: limoncello and meloncello, exquisite. I went there with my brother and his partner. I will return, I think, often. I didn't take photos. unfortunately, but we spent a very pleasant evening in the outdoor space. Thank you.

L’opera Prima - Ristorante Pizzeria

19/07/2024: Comfortable environment, friendly staff and tasty food. We had pizzas and cutlets and chips and it was all very good. If you want to have a lunch or dinner in a quiet place, this is the ideal place!
11/07/2024: The pizza was good, while the pasta with clams didn't have as strong a flavor as it should have.
