Caffè Manon Lescaut In Lucca

We just stayed in Lucca for a month and Macon Lescaut was very close to where we stayed. We enjoyed several breakfasts and lunches here and were never disappointed. Everything was always fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. The service was very friendly and it was nice when the server would remember us. It is right in Piazza Cittadella so also great for people watching!

A bit too expensive, the coffee quality is great, but I wouldn't recommend the croissants

I discovered this little gem of a place my first morning in Lucca. I sat and ordered the Eggs Benedict. It was close to perfection. The real bacon here is some of the best I’ve ever eaten. You get a glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice with every order. I went to have breakfast here every day i was in Lucca, and I had the omelette, the pancakes, they were all perfection. The staff is amazing and very attentive to your needs. The whole team is friendly and every detail is accounted for. If you need a break from the typical Italian breakfast and want a taste of an American breakfast this is the spot. It is the only place in Lucca I visited multiple times. I cannot say enough about this place.

Tanto si quieres una bebida caliente, cerveza, vino o cóctel... desayuno, almuerzo o cena, este restaurante es realmente especial. Es como si estuvieras visitando a tu familia. La comida es absolutamente excelente! Realmente recomiendo el Melanzane Parmigiana 👌 las ensaladas 👌 el servicio y el lugar. Limpio, amable y consistente ❤️

In two weeks of travelling in this part of Italy this is the only café that provided a little jug of hot water so I could dilute my café americano to the strength I like. Full marks for that. Food choice was limited to what was on display but I had prosciutto and mozzarella on focaccia (warmed) plus a slice of apple tart, both very good. If the 5€ tart had been bigger, warmed, and with a dollop of cream I would have given 5 stars.
