Sure, the place isn't cheap. The Caffelatte Freddo (€6) was good, and the three-flavored ice cream (€10) was OK. There are certainly better options. But we had good seats on the "balcony," and the waitress Iris was great! It couldn't be friendlier, and conveniently, she spoke a bit of German. We would definitely stop by again on our next visit to Florence.

As Tourists, we came here 3 times within a couple days for cappuccinos and a couple espresso martinis. We saw the reviews before the third time, but didn’t experience any rip offs. The people working were friendly enough for Italy, we didn’t get overcharged. There are hundreds of Gelato places to go to besides this one, I don’t know why people would bother going to this one in the first place because we didn’t. Coffee was great. The woman did ask for a tip which we didn’t give, but it doesn’t deserve to be rated so poorly because of that. Just don’t tip lmao

Me and my family had a really lovely experience, they celebrated my sister’s birthday on the spot, offered us a place with a great view and treated us really warmly all around. The food was great for breakfast

I don't understand the negative reviews about this establishment. My girlfriend and I had a 2 scoop ice cream with a coke. The total price was €11.50 for a delicious ice cream.
From my experience, I plan to return there and I also recommend going there.

We had a coffee and a tea. Privileged views of the Ponte Vecchio from the first floor. It has a very spacious upper floor, where we were the only ones.
The waitress was friendly.

Hemos estado en Florencia muchas veces y hemos probado muchos cafés. Siempre nos ha gustado tomar helado y capuchino arriba con Iris en Café Maioli. Es una anfitriona maravillosamente enérgica. La vista de las multitudes que cruzan el Ponte Vecchio es entretenida y si tienes suerte podrás escuchar cantar a Iris.
