The Fork 0
Caffè Letterario is located in the Ostiense area. I discovered it at the invitation of a friend. The place is large and welcoming; I liked the interior decor. Inside, besides the large central bar, there's a nice stage where I imagine they host small live performances. I also tried brunch here, which I found to be good and reasonably priced. The wait staff was friendly.

You can eat and drink for a reasonable price. Then you can dance without paying anything extra. The food could be more plentiful, but it still gets a thumbs up.

Great place. Apparently an old garage that's been converted into a fantastic bar/library. They also have live events on some days, and if that's not your thing, it's a great place to spend the day. You pay €5 upfront for a voucher, which you can then use to buy drinks. A lovely and socially conscious concept!

most wonderful study spot in rome. so cozy & so many places to sit. you pay a €5 fee when you walk in the door and you use that to buy coffee and snacks during your stay. you can always spend more than that too!

10/01/2026: A divisive restaurant... some love it, some hate it. But if you choose the right dishes and avoid the weekend chaos, you'll have a great time. The atmosphere is simple and familiar. The calzone is very good. The wood-fired pizza is good, but it's still a Neapolitan pizza. With or without crust, it's still Neapolitan. If you like it, go for it... but if you like Roman pizza, avoid it... they're two different things. I can't stand people who want Roman pizza and then complain. The tonnarelli with artichokes and pecorino is excellent. Next time, I'll try the meat... it looks good. Follow my advice... think about it, folks.
