Very cool place to stop to eat some Matera food. Great Matera soup Cialledda Fredda, meat balls polpette al sugo; great panini with octopus, it was very tender and bread was very soft. Momerj panini was very good. Service was little odd: waiter was complaining he was alone so could not be as fast as he wanted and also using a sense of humor we did really understand l, but in the end it was ok. Tables little small. Toilet cannot always use, little dirty. Food as said is incredible. Thumbs up but not full star for service. We did ask for Weiss beer and was not properly put on glasses.

My mother and I came to eat here after wandering around Matera for a long time, looking for a nice place to eat. We stopped here and ordered meatballs with tomato sauce and a portion of cialledda, along with a crostini with oil and tomato to share. We were very pleased with the food, the atmosphere of the place, right across from the square, and the quick and friendly service of the young man who served us, who was extremely kind and professional. I recommend it to anyone looking for a place to eat good, traditional food at a reasonable price. See you next time!

The board is great! I recommend it.

We had a mixed Platter with spritz for lunch. The Platter was super delicious but for my view way too expansive with 39 EUR. Service was good. Good place to have some drinks and Fingerfood but would avoid the platter going forward.
