It's a traditional Italian cafe, but the service is just as good as Korean. In particular, Tomas and Donald's English response was excellent. The dessert and coffee we ordered were good, but the additional chocolate they gave us was also delicious.

The window display design is very exquisite and there are many customers. Unfortunately, the taste of the hazelnut chocolate cake is very average. Inside the shell is just an ordinary chocolate cake. It does not have the richness of chocolate, nor the taste of hazelnuts, nor the layers of cream. It is not made very carefully. It cost 7 euros to take away, and the clerk used plastic gloves to handle it, and there were no pliers. I had to ask the clerk several times before he reluctantly gave me a small plastic spoon, and he didn't even have paper towels. There is a big difference between the low-priced service experience and the high-end feeling given by the window display design.

Gilli is a must-visit when you come to Florence.
Be sure to try the tiramisu. It melts easily.
The staff is also very friendly. Our person in charge was Tomas, and he was kind enough to explain things to us.

Cute little stop for anything, any time of day. A huge variety of coffees, cocktails, breakfast, lunch, snack, dolce, or dinner. We had coffees and sweets and everything was perfectly delicious (especially the iced caffe). It looks like a tourist trap, but it's not really...just in a convenient location with a lot to offer.

Had an exceptionally amazing macchiatone this afternoon - so good I didn't want it to finish. Perfectly hot, silky smooth milk foam, intense coffee, nice thin white porcelain cup. Peppe, Cristina and one other female waiter behind the bar whose name eludes me were great. Went on with my day buzzing.
