I can't say enough good things about this place. Professionalism is almost a given, of course. You know, it's going to cost a lot, but everything is excellent! The bathrooms are very clean and safe!

Overall it was a good, fun experience. The food and drinks were very expensive considering they weren’t too special but it’s definitely the atmosphere you’re paying for. Absolutely stunning interior full of designs and paintings.

Verdict: 👍🏽 100% worth the experience!
If I were to describe the Florian, I’d say that it is a boutique cafe that makes you feel like you stepped in the 17th or 18th century. Open since 1720, (yes, seventeen-twenty) it is absolutely gorgeous! The seating is tight, but if you get in you make it work.
We got a cappuccino and a hot chocolate. The cappuccino was divine, and the hot chocolate was super thick; as it should be. Their prices are definitely based on the experience & having found seating at one of their tables. e.g.: The hot chocolate was €18 in 2022. Again, it’s worth the experience. Think of it as the entrance fee for walking into a scene from history, but you also get a drink and/or snacks!
I 100% recommend Caffe Florian for its delicious drinks, ambiance, beauty, and history. #venice #zarinasverdict #caffeflorian #travel #reviews

Caffè Florian on St. Mark's Square in Venice is a truly special place. This historic café has been around since 1720 and is one of the oldest cafés in the world. The atmosphere is unique – beautiful rooms, elegant decor, and often live music right on St. Mark's Square. ✨
You sit amidst one of the most beautiful backdrops in Europe and can simply soak up the special flair of Venice. The service is very stylish, and the café has a long history with famous guests such as artists and writers.
However, it must be said that it is quite expensive. A coffee can cost around €8–12 or even more, depending on the table, especially outside with live music (which costs an extra €15 per person).
Nevertheless, it's worth a visit for the unique experience and the special atmosphere.

We knew it was going to be expensive and you pay more for the music, but my mum wanted to go for her birthday and we still enjoyed it and had a lovely time. The food and drink was good, music was amazing, atmosphere and views also amazing and the service was great too. Overpriced, but still good.

It's a shame I couldn't hear the performance because it wasn't during the concert period, but the atmosphere at sunset alone seems to be worth it.
Tourist Trap
Admittedly, this café is beautiful and has a history. But today it has become a tourist trap, a real rip-off, with unwelcoming and stressed service, and a rushed, poorly made cappuccino.
While we were taking photos at the table like most tourists, the waiter became impatient. Classy service would have involved either coming a little later or offering to take a photo of the two of us.
Then, the cappuccino was nothing special compared to Café de Flore in Paris, which uses the milk to create a special pattern to demonstrate its attention to customers.

This gives you an idea of two historic and well-known cafés, one that has lost its soul and the other that hasn't.

A bit touristy but if you ignore that and imagine Casanova sipping hot chocolate with his favourite nun 300years ago you can enjoy it and apreacheate that nothing has really changed here
