MENU POSTED ON THEIR WEBSITE HAS ANCIENT PRICES. For example, club sandwich is €21, NOT €12. We spent about €60 on a spritz, a beer, a water, and one club sandwich. Having said that - you go to Caffe Florian for the experience. The food is very good and the spritz was delicious and not weak, but the location and scenery (indoors and out) are incomparable. It's a great place to enjoy an afternoon drink while watching the world go by. With la piazza full of stage and seating for the concert, plus construction equipment, the charm is diminished by in summer 2025, but it's still charming. If money isn't a concern, by all means, enjoy! If you're working a budget, there are much less expensive options in cute piazzas elsewhere.

The atmosphere is fantastic!!! It really feels like drinking a coffee in 1700!!! There were 10 of us and they told us that the price would be 100€ per person, but it is 100€ total! I would definitely go back!

This historic café, over 300 years old, is located right in the heart of Venice’s tourist center—St. Mark’s Square. The vintage furniture and decor create a charming, old-world atmosphere that transports you back in time. We absolutely loved the mortadella croissants—they were rich and flavorful—and the biscuits were incredibly light and delicious. The live music added a beautiful touch to the experience. Highly recommend this café for a memorable combination of ambiance, food, and music.

Caffe Florian, located in St. Martin Square, established in 1720, is the oldest Coffee House in continuous operation in Italy ! While visiting Venice, we stopped by for sandwiches and soft drinks. It was extremely crowded. But we were soon seated. It took a while to be served. The food was OK. It the ambience was great. Overall we were happy that we stopped by.

Caffè Florian is a great place for a light snack or lunch! We found their selection of food and drinks really nice and enjoyed their sandwiches and macarons. Their service was excellent and it was astonishing how they can navigate through the crowd of tourists to give us our food. The atmosphere was also nice and we enjoyed the live music quartet. Overall, we really liked coming to Caffè Florian and would definitely come here again!

We didn’t make a reservation or grab a pricey table in the square—we simply walked in, turned left, and sat at the elegant bar inside to try the famous espresso at Caffè Florian, the oldest café in Italy (est. 1720). The service was wonderful—especially the lovely woman behind the bar who gave us a brief history lesson while pulling the espresso. It’s rich, strong, and smooth—sipping it in this setting made it unforgettable. So glad we did this! It’s a must-do for any coffee enthusiast. The atmosphere, the history, and that perfect little cup… you’re tasting a piece of Venetian tradition. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
