Caffè Ficile In Martano

Excellent staff and very kind owners

Excellent aperitif in the historic center of Martano.

We stayed in Martano for two nights, and the owner of the apartment recommended we stop by Bar Ficile... well, the appearance of a typical village bar belies the exceptional quality of their products. The Fruttone and pasticciotti (the latter in two sizes, large and small, and in a variety of flavors, all delicious) were the best we had during our two-week tour of Puglia. And I can say we made a point of trying several of them during the trip. The almond cantucci and cream bomboloni, homemade by them, were amazing. They also have small pastries, which we didn't try, but they looked delicious. We also ordered rustici and pizza slices to go, and they were delicious too. The owners were also very friendly. Definitely a place I'll return to every time I come to Puglia. Highly recommended.

A charming bar in Martano with authentic style and good, fresh produce. The pasticciotto Leccese and the filled cornetti are a must!

Caffè Ficile is worth a quick detour to taste the “Mustaccioli” and the excellent classic pasticciotti: the cream ones are truly the best you can taste in Salento

The warm croissants in the evening are absolutely delicious.

Bar Pasticceria senza fronzoli e senza luci alla moda...qui trovi la sostanza, la genuinità e la cortesia e cosa da non sottovalutare...prezzi normali. Un posto che sa di storia e di gente semplice. Pasticciotti divini. Se passate da queste parti non fatevi scappare una sosta.
