The perfect place to spend some quality time, excellent coffee, excellent service, commitment and professionalism are the hallmarks. The aperitifs are top-notch, and they're a truly exceptional family. Carlo and Rosa are two people from another era.

Seemed quite pricy for 2 Americans wanting just 2 glasses of house wine at 5:00pm. 50% higher than other cafes in same area.

But the first time I visited this city, I liked the service from my wife. The blonde shepherd who served us was very helpful and friendly, even though we don't speak Italian. 😊❤️ We'll come back for kvass again.

Caffè Excelsior is one of those historic establishments that exudes elegance, tradition, and customer service. Located right in the city center, it's the perfect spot for a leisurely breakfast, a coffee break, or a refined aperitivo. The coffee is always excellent, served professionally, and accompanied by small touches that truly make a difference. The selection of pastries and baked goods is also excellent: fresh, well-made, and decidedly delicious. The service is fast, friendly, and very attentive, even at the busiest times. The atmosphere is refined yet welcoming, ideal for both an informal meeting and a more relaxed break. A must-visit every time I pass through the city center. Highly recommended!

Super nice place in the middle of the pedestrian zone, very friendly staff, and perfectly reasonable prices. And every Spritz comes with sweet little snacks.

It’s a very basic place and the staff can be a bit rude, especially if you come with a voucher from a b&b. They don’t have any milk alternative such as soya or oat and nothing gluten free. Just go there if you are happy to have an Italian breakfast, cappuccino and croissant, the coffee wasn’t bad after all.
