It is a very good place, impeccable service, kindness, education and friendliness, excellent sweet and savory pastry products, varied and complete cafeteria, delicious coffee, complete offer of wines, not to mention the liqueurs, very good at cocktails, even with variations that they make them fantastic, a bar with an excellent level of quality and level is worth a trip to San Lazzaro di Savena

Friendliness and precision in service

Historic place in San Lazzaro (at least historic for me, who remember it for as long as I can remember). Recently renovated and expanded (previously it had practically no seats inside), it has maintained the nice Art Nouveau style kiosk terrace and some outdoor tables. Very central location. In fact, it is always very busy and in some cases, such as on Saturday mornings, the staff appears a little tired. I recommend giving up table service as most cafes now do, focusing on the one at the counter. However, both the owner and the employees are always affable and available. Average pasta, good cafeteria, rich aperitif. If I have to make a note, I suggest greater care inside the outdoor area (various finishes and upholstery) which truly represents the strong point of the place and it is a shame not to fully exploit it.
