Caffe Domiziano In Roma

Roma è necessariamente sinonimo di pizza e pasta, è un imperativo mangiare queste specialità. Un caffè che consiglio a chiunque vada a Piazza Navona. Offre un caloroso benvenuto, un servizio esemplare. La vista della fontana dei quattro fiumi è bellissima, soprattutto al tramonto. Ho mangiato anche una pizza con una pasta spessa e prosciutto, una vera delizia. Per quanto riguarda la pasta alla carbonara, quando il piatto è arrivato, il primo pensiero è stato "così poco? ". Alla fine abbiamo capito perché. Molto poca ma onestamente la pasta migliore che abbia mai mangiato. Per tutti coloro che si trovano qui, Caffè Domiziano è l'ideale.

3.5 stars - decent food and service, but over-priced for the quality provided. Atmosphere is nice, though all music was American pop and alternative which didn’t quite fit the setting.

Restaurant in a good location right next to the fountain of 4 rivers. Food good, prices a bit higher than the competition. Service good.

We had dinner at this wonderful place in Piazza Navona beautiful view of the Fountain of the 4 Rivers, great food and excellent service. Truly a beautiful evening

after getting rejected from restaurants close to my hotel, I wandered around Rome, and stumbled across the menu street side of read it, saw what I wanted. thought on how my last experience went and walked away, went back to try and find another choice something lighter, but as I hadn't really eaten all day after just having arrived in Rome and traveling and checking into my hotel. with all the tourists walking around and all the talking it was a bit much on my mind to not panic a little bit. then after I walked away again and went back to look for another item I might try.. out walks a nice lady, who asks me in English, what I wanted to eat. I stumbled on my words then stated what had happened with my last experience with a restaurant, and how I went back to the hotel and looked it up and it was probably due to the fact that it was to early for them to serve me a pizza, she looked at me plainly and said... "I have never heard of those customs in Italy before" she showed me to a seat and said that they would serve me what ever I wanted at whatever time, from the time that they open to close, they cook. she sat me at a table outside ass it was still fairly hot outside and inside would be worse, the tables and everything being out of the sun and the nearby fans made the whole area feel safe and calmer, and my nervousness went away. I got some drinks and suggestions on drinks at my request, got an appetizer (deli meat and honeydew melon), then a carbonara, a limoncello spritz then a Hugo spritz, desert of gelato and something to help digest. all really good food. I paid and realized that on my way back to the hotel I tipped to little and went back the next day and bought more food and brought the previous receipt, bought more food and tipped for that nights meal and the previous nights properly. Anna was there and I explained what happened and she accepted my apology. another great meal left both time happy Anna is the Best!

Stopped here for drinks only. A great atmosphere in the square, a little on the expensive side, as to be expected in its location. Can’t comment on quality of the food, service was friendly though.

Solo quiero decir lo increíble que ha sido para su maravilloso servicio que he visitado dos veces en viajes separados y nunca me decepcionó , grandes gracias a Carlo y estrella absoluta, lo siento no entendí el cargo por servicio opcional, quiere hasta que pagué que me di cuenta de que no dejé una propina para usted y el equipo, cuando sea el próximo en Roma corregiré eso, no puedo esperar a volver y verlos a todos de nuevo en el futuro

Mi esposa y yo tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa en Domiziano. La pasta con salsa pesto estaba tan buena que me la comí dos veces. Mido atendió en nuestra mesa y fue excelente. Muy sensible y divertido estar cerca. Sin duda volveré a comer aquí de nuevo.
