It's wonderful to sit under the arcades on the mottled marble floor, directly opposite the castle and Piazza Savonarola with its statue. The landlady is very friendly, the food is good home cooking and the prices are very moderate.

04/10/2024: Let me start by saying that I can only evaluate the restaurant as I did not stay overnight, but only went to a few business lunches in August. Simple but good food, generous portions. I think it has changed management because in the past they were much quicker with service. Overall, however, it was an acceptable experience, at least for a quick lunch on a break from work. It has some parking around or on the opposite side of the road.
06/07/2024: Nuova gestione per questo locale storico di Ferrara che per un certo periodo è rimasto chiuso e poi ha ripreso alla grande. Buon menu a pranzo a base di pesce, con prezzo onesto e con giuste porzioni. Il pesce è fresco e buono,, con tre varietà di primi e secondi, una bottiglia di vino acqua e caffè. Il tutto per € 14,00. Consiglio di venire a provare.
