Unfortunately I was very disappointed: the wonder of the view from the terrace of the bastion of Santa Croce is not enough, we must not forget the fundamentals. Poche' egg cold with equally cold bacon... tagliolini (rectius of even large linguine) with chopped prawns (just a little), sebadas overcooked and practically empty... I regret the previous management and I'm sorry that it took two months, perhaps less, to overturn my opinion on a wonderful place in Cagliari where I had always eaten very well...

Good food, amazing view, bad service. They leave you waiting for a table, then to take your order, then they bring the wrong order, you wait again and eventually you wait to pay. Getting the staff's attention is mission impossible.... don't come here if you're in a hurry!

The place is breathtaking. The service and quality of the food need to be improved a lot. Unfortunately, the service is very slow. We waited a good half hour to order. After the second course, another good half hour passed before receiving the dessert and, despite this, one of the desserts, the chocolate cake, was not very hot. The risottos were very, very al dente. Other dishes such as tuna tartare, monkfish and duck were good but not excellent. The staff is pleasant. There is room for improvement.

Great cocktails! Great view. Pleasant terrace. Fairly courteous waiters.
They served us fewer aperitifs than the table next to which were the same number.
They refused to change an ingredient in a cocktail that didn't change much.

The panoramic aperitif at sunset on the battlements of the castle (as we tried on a cold windy day in April) or inside the suggestive caves of the "castle" (as we ended up preferring) is truly an experience to have in Cagliari. Even if you don't choose the "Alligator" their signature cocktail you will find attentive service, pleasant drinks and a unique atmosphere.
