It's a beautiful café in the center of Bergamo, located on the Sentierone, a popular Sunday stroll. The staff is attentive and friendly, and I highly recommend it.

The food (club sandwich) was very good and highly recommended, although the portion was a bit large. The service staff was very courteous and attentive. We sat upstairs, which was unfortunately a bit noisy, but that was due to the other guests.

A historic bar in the center of Bergamo with a pleasant outdoor seating area and a room with additional seating upstairs. We frequent it for breakfast, which, as you can see from the photo, is well presented and satisfying, despite the small brioches. The service could be improved; it's a bit slow and inconsistent.

Lower Bergamo in the center along the main intersection. Excellent location very picturesque. For an aperitif and a quick sandwich, very long wait on a Saturday; admittedly they were packed and we were forgotten. Good quality and quite expensive.

Rifugio Baita Gianpace

21/06/2026: A lovely refuge after a short 1.5-hour hike from the ENEL parking lot in Aviasco. Tickets are €5. The menu offers a few dishes. Cold beers are served. Near the Sanguinario stream, where you can rest and bathe in the pools to escape the heat. Suitable for children.
