Very good service, very friendly. The food was good, especially the bolognese gnocchi, they were delicious. They charge €2 per cover (the lowest in Verona) and €7 for beer. Advisable

Having entered by chance, I found a truly unique environment. Friendly, courteous and professional staff. Bar suitable for those seeking relaxation and quality surrounded by the magical atmosphere of Verona with normal prices. I RECOMMEND IT TOP

I had a very nice and relaxing time in the cafe this afternoon. Some people say that the interior is outdated but it is only adding charm to it.
If my time in Verona allows I am planning to go back there.
I had a salad and then coffee and classic tiramisu. All delicious. The wi-fi and old classics in the background was a bonus.

Place near Piazza delle Erbe, but in a slightly less traveled street and therefore quieter than the other places crowded together. Aperitif with spritz and cold cuts platter, good quality, attentive service, reasonable price.

El Caffe Coloniale es un bar/restaurante tradicional situado en el centro histórico de Verona, muy cerca de la famosa casa de Julieta. Probablemente es más famoso por sus bebidas y aperitivos que por ser un restaurante en toda regla, y mi crítica es de hecho por el bar y no por el restaurante.
El lugar es muy agradable y tiene una zona al aire libre súper encantadora, disponible durante todo el año. La elección de bebidas y la comida salada que viene con ellas es bastante amplia y satisfactoria y
El servicio está bien y los precios son justos para la ubicación y los productos.
Sin duda recomendaría sentarse y disfrutar de una copa mientras explora el centro de la ciudad de Verona.

Caffe Coloniale is a traditional bar/restaurant in the heart of Verona old city centre, very close to the famous Juliet's house. It is probably more famous for its drinks and aperitives than for being a fully fledged restaurant, and my review is in fact for the bar and not for the restaurant.
The place is very nice and has a super lovely outdoor area, available all-year round. The choice of drinks and the savoury food that comes with them is quite ample and satisfactory and
The service is fine and the prices are fair for the location and products.
I'd definitely recommend to sit and enjoy a drink while exploring Verona's city centre.

In visita alla città siamo stati attratti dagli esterni e dalla lavagna con i piatti del giorno…
Servizio veloce e preciso.
Piatti del giorno preparati con cura nonostante i ritmi dell’ora di pranzo in una città turistica.
Risotto al tastasal, molto saporito ma a me è piaciuto.
Risotto zafferano e speck, delicato.
Conto, non proprio quello che ci aspettavamo in un “Caffè” all’ora di pranzo, ma in linea con quanto consumato in un ristorante.
Vale la pena se scegliete tra i piatti del giorno.
