Caffè Capretz In Barga

Went for dinner on our final day in Italy. Everything was fantastic up until it came to paying. My friend (who order steak and chips) was then told the two items were separate, despite having been told that they fell under the same price. We also then were told about the footnote that it was an additional 2.50 euros to order, and since we were paying separately, that ended up costing an additional 10 euros. In the end, what was meant to cost €21.50 cost €29, and the sum total exceeded €100 much to our horror given we’d only ordered drinks and 1 entree each.

The portions are a bit small and the food a bit overpriced, but the craft beers were decent. The service is fast and they're very helpful. They also have a very nice terrace.

We were there in September. We found a table right away, and the menu is available digitally in every language imaginable. The server was quick and courteous, and our meal (bruschetta, spaghetti carbonara, tiramisu) was excellent. You sit sheltered from the weather in this beautiful little town. 👍

A wonderful experience and the best view you can get from this wonderful place. We will definitely be back!

A very cute and well-kept little place, with a wonderful view! The service is sweet and friendly, the food is varied, and the flavors are well-crafted! The lemonade is refreshing and delicious! The tacos are unmissable! The space, decor, and service make it a great place to spend a lovely afternoon with a drink and nibbling on the delicious items on the menu! Definitely a place to come back!

La Loggia del Capretz Bistrot en Barga es un lugar pintoresco para el almuerzo o la cena. Ofrece excelentes platos destacando ingredientes locales. Nos encantó la sopa de temporada, camarones Bang Bang, risotto, ñoquis y pasta boloñesa. Nuestra camarera Susanna era muy amable y servicial. También es una sumiller muy hábil que recomendó un increíble licor de castañas local para después del almuerzo digestif que se ha hecho en Barga desde la década de 1880. Definitivamente estaremos buscando donde podemos comprar una botella del licor Castagne. Recomendamos encarecidamente este pequeño bistrot lindo.
