Very good restaurant with a nice atmosphere and great food. Everything we tried was delicious and well prepared. The owner is especially kind and friendly, which made the experience even better. Service was attentive and welcoming. Definitely a place worth visiting if you are in the area.

Epiphany lunch before heading up to the Befana in Barga. An overall pleasant experience for the food, service, and ambiance. Definitely worth repeating when they return from their well-deserved vacation.

Wonderful food, fast and friendly service. A truly excellent place. The selection of wines and gins is also excellent. Dogs are welcome.

Probably one of the best restaurants in Barga. We loved it so much that we went twice for lunch during our trip to Tuscany. Right in the heart of Barga, the menu is packed with traditional Tuscan classics alongside a few modern surprises (I spotted tacos). We ordered pasta both times and it was phenomenal; the bolognese alone is what convinced us to come back for round two. You can immediately tell this is a local favorite, which is always a great sign. Even on chilly November days, the place was buzzing with locals every time we stopped in. The staff was fantastic as well, and we even got the chance to chat with the owner. And the ambiance was just lovely. There’s a balcony overlooking Barga, and I am still wishing we’d snagged one of those tables (sadly they don’t use that space during colder months). Prices felt very fair for both the quality and portion sizes. A spot I’d happily return to without hesitation.

A historic restaurant in Barga, right in the center, beneath the Town Hall. We ordered a delicious polenta with porcini mushrooms and a delicious slice of Argentinian beef. The quality of the meat was top-notch. Superb service. The staff are always attentive to their customers' needs and, above all, fast and punctual.

We happened upon Barga by chance, and while wandering around the town center, we dropped in without a reservation. The staff was always extremely courteous and cheerful. A lovely team of young, friendly people. We ate very well: excellent Garfagnana tordelli, and a truly tender and flavorful Argentinian steak. The highlight (for me) was the dessert, a crème brûlée with a truly unique flavor.
