Simply the best bar in Cortona...as well as excellent products, courtesy and kindness...to try

We stayed nearby and came to this cafe a few times for breakfast. They make fresh orange juice and have a good selection of pastries as well as some pizza and sandwiches.

¡Gran café! La dueña puede ser un poco picante, pero tiene buenas intenciones (¡creo!) y le encantan los niños. El señor propietario es encantador y ha sido una delicia cada mañana que hemos estado allí. Siempre están ocupados (una buena señal en mi opinión) y el capuchino es delicioso. Ojalá Italia tuviera más ovoproductos para el desayuno, pero los mini croissants de tomate mozz eran geniales junto con la pastelería de albaricoque.

We ordered coffee for take away 3 mornings and assume it was the owner helping us. He was quite kind, cheery, and helpful and we thought the pastries/coffee were great. Didn’t do sit down which seems to be where the issues are in other posts.

I don't understand the negative reviews I read about this cafe. I come from Salerno and I eat very high quality croissants here and drink delicious coffee! Among other things, the fantastic element of this bar is the owner and his wife who, far from being constructed and fake, are two authentic and friendly people in their DNA. I love this place because it represents the real Cortona in its authenticity. I witnessed local dynamics and here in the morning you see the real life of the place, with its inhabitants and their infectious sense of humor. I'll be back for sure.

Great coffee and very friendly staff. Loved the croissants. Nice place to chill out and talk.
