Caffè Accademia In Firenze

We visited this café as a family—my wife, our two children (ages 6 and 10), and I—for some ice cream. Everything was as expected, simple and correct. The staff was very kind and welcoming, especially with the kids. It wasn’t a standout experience in terms of the product, but the friendly service made it a pleasant stop. A good choice for a relaxed, family-friendly visit.

Croissants and coffee were delicious, service was fast and attentive. Great breakfast option, with really reasonable prices before our tour at Accademia.

I was served by a blond waiter who reacted to the sentence "I will order this" saying that he doesn't take orders and that I must "not be from there" and I don't understand what the word "order" means in italian. Thing is, he was patronizing and I am italian, just not from Florence. The croissant was kind of stale and the cappuccino 3,50€ which is definitely overpriced for italy: two cappuccino, one slice of pizza and one croissant 13,50€ just to have an idea and if you want to roam around. The quality was not awful, but the service ruined the experience. Nice table outside. This is my first negative review, so I would suggest you to avoid this place and the "sweety" on the side.

A very local place, with super friendly workers and great product, I ate a spectacular pistachio cornetto!!! Highly recommended, and the terrace, although small, is very pleasant.
