Café Romano In Roma

EXCELLENT! I stopped at this café for a drink and to potentially charge my phone. I was served extremely quickly and asked if it was possible to charge my phone. The waiter replied in very good English and seated me at the bar while he went to plug my phone in to charge. Meanwhile, a jazz artist accompanied by musicians was singing. As if my experience wasn't already great, another waiter came to ask me what I wanted, and this man was exceptionally kind and very funny. Free homemade crisps and olives are served with your drink, which is certainly welcome. The place has a very pleasant atmosphere, in keeping with the neighborhood and the expected level of quality. I left with a wonderful experience and my phone almost fully charged. I recommend it for relaxing during a day of shopping or for dinner. I will definitely return on my next trip to Rome.

A perfect end to our day in Rome. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was amazing both in taste and presentation. A definite must, as they say, when in Rome!

This restaurant had the best pasta I've ever had in my life, the Tonarelli dello Chef alla carbonara (Carbonara with Chef's tonnarelli pasta)! Atmosphere was great, and the service was wonderful. I didn't have to book a table and could walk in with so many available. If you come to Rome, try the Tonarelli dello Chef alla carbonara at Café Romano!

Very elegant, nice restaurant sitting inside a quaint hotel surrounded by wild class shopping. It was easy to get a table. Recommendations for food and wine were excellent and the cuisine was the best we had in Rome would definitely highly recommend and would even consider checking out the hotel, very professional weight staff that was charming and informative and helped me our experience. Outstanding would highly recommend especially for Americans on vacation.

I tried afternoon tea at the Hotel d'Inghilterra and overall it was a decent experience. I spent around €61. The desserts were passable, while the savory options consisted of a few sliced ​​sandwiches, nothing particularly memorable. The real disappointment was discovering only at checkout that a 10% "voluntary contribution" was added, effectively a mandatory tip, without any advance notice. This is a significant detail: if the cost had been higher, so would the tip. In short, the atmosphere was elegant and pleasant, but the quality-price ratio was questionable. The experience would have been more enjoyable with a more carefully curated menu and, above all, with greater transparency regarding costs. When a tip is truly "voluntary," it shouldn't appear unexpectedly on the receipt.

I booked a holiday snack at this wonderful hotel and was pleasantly surprised. It's a very elegant and well-kept hotel, and the restaurant area has some truly charming tables with Christmas decorations. The staff is super helpful and friendly, and the snack was accompanied by a selection of fine teas and hot drinks, along with a trolley of traditional Christmas sweets, all delicious! A great discovery. I'll definitely be back!
