Unfortunately, the service was unfriendly, rushed, and disorganized. We had to wait a long time! The food was also not good, especially for the very high prices. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it!

I worked in the castle garden for several weeks and sampled my way through the menu. The salmon trout fillet was the best. I can recommend the Mediterranean vegetables with grilled cheese, the tagliata, and the Trautmannsdorf salad. Depending on the chef, it tastes even better. It's hard to get a seat when it rains.

A pleasant restaurant, the quality I didn't expect in such a "tourist" location. Moderate prices, no different from those in the surrounding areas of Schenna and Merano. Fast, friendly service, and very helpful. I'll be back.

Nice and fast service, but unfortunately a loud boss who belittles his employees in front of the guests.

On the one hand, the service seemed very stressed, even though there were only a few seats occupied (they asked if they could clear the table while we were still eating), and on the other hand, there were a lot of hairs in the food (bruschetta). We ate it anyway and were even offered a free coffee afterward, but that shouldn't happen in a restaurant of this category (in terms of its own standards and appeal) when the kitchen is working properly.

Always check your receipt here, they don't show you the list of items by default but you better ask for it. In my case there was a drink that we didn't order and the guy arrogantly said that we should have told him before when they tried to deliver it, as if it hadn't been his fault. Obviously his colleague should have told him that we rejected it because we didn't ask for it.

Fantastic location, great view of the pond with its beautiful water lilies. The food was simply unbelievably delicious.

We came here with friends for lunch during a visit to the botanical gardens. It's the in-house restaurant of a tourist attraction, with all the trimmings. You wouldn't expect anything less. The food was quite tasty. Not outstanding—you can get a lot better in South Tyrol—but solid. The portion sizes are a bit small by South Tyrolean standards. Compared to that, the prices are comparatively high. This is particularly noticeable with the children's dishes. Almost €10 for a sausage with a handful of fries, wow. We've gotten a lot more for less. The service was okay. Not overly friendly, but professional and prompt. We (2 adults + 2 children) paid €70, including water and four simple dishes. Overall, everything was okay, but not a restaurant you absolutely have to visit.

Durch Glück bekamen wir auf der total überfüllten Terrasse des Restaurants eine Schattenplatz. Zwar ohne schönen Ausblick, dafür nicht ohne zu lange Wartezeiten. Essen und Getränke waren in Ordnung, die Preise angemessen. Besonders nett und bemerkenswert: Unsere Enkelin hatte ihr Zahnspange herausgenommen und in die Serviette gewickelt. Beim Aufbruch bliebe sie liegen. Mehrere Mitarbeiter haben dann zusammen mit einer anderen Enkelin stundenlang die Abfälle durchwühlt, um die Spange zu finden. Leider ohne Erfolg, aber besonderer Dank gebührt ihnen trotzdem.
