Cafè Novecento In Marone

In the center of the lakeside village of Marine, a splendid place where the past coexists with the future for a tasty coffee break or a chocolate in winter and then immersed in a refreshing summer drink. Does it need to be said? Highly recommended.

My sister and I stopped in for a late lunch and were blown away. There are so many things to rave about. First of all, the owner is amazing. So friendly. He makes you feel as if you have known each other for years. The décor is wonderful. My favorite decor is the cut out in the stone wall with body parts! And finally, the food!!!! I have not been one to “clean” my plate. Haven’t in years. However, the lasagna I ordered was beyond words WONDERFUL! So much so I cleaned my plate. I even sent a picture to my husband LOL. So, if you are in the area I highly recommend you stop in and enjoy Novecento. .
