Historic restaurant and pastry bar on the Viareggio promenade. Refined atmosphere, excellent service and quality food. The only important flaw is the very high price, the simplest dishes (even mozzarella and tomato) start from around 20 euros, not to mention the wines.4 bring 3 glasses of prosecco, 4 mini pastries, water, 3 coffees, price over 150 euros for lunch.

Fappani is perfectly located at the coastal promenade of Viareggio. It has elegant appearance and offers pastry, as well as delicious meals prepared with carefully selected products. The cuisine is mostly Italian Mediterranean. Vegetarian options are available in the menu. The wine list provides the opportunity to taste and enjoy a variety of local Tuscan wines. The staff is professional and kind. Special thanks to Marko, who made our evening enjoyable:) Highly recommended!

20/08/2024: An aperitif of excellent quality.
19/08/2024: The legendary Bar Principe in Forte dei Marmi, refurbished by Prada. There is an atmosphere of sweet seaside life in true Italian style, everything is so photogenic. Friendly and fast salesmen, the prices are what they are, you have to count where you are. My Tassoni cedar was excellent, perfect after a nice walk. I noticed they also have ice cream, next time I'll try it!!!

12/10/2024: Abbiamo trovato questo ristorante con the fork. Buona qualità e porzioni abbondanti. Personale gentilissimo e cordiale. Servizio veloce. Ottimo prezzo promozione con the fork.
22/09/2024: Il locale si trova in questo inconsueto, almeno per me, "chalet in pineta". Assomiglia forse più a un cocktail bar o tavola calda che a un ristorante canonico, se devo essere onesto. Servizio cortese e piacevole, professionale benché informale. Tratto in inganno da alcune recensioni, siamo partiti gagliardamente ordinando subito primo e secondo! Invece le porzioni sono veramente ma veramente abbondanti. Eccellenti carbonara di mare e la catalana. Notevolissimo il caciucco. Menzione d'onore alle cicale: Mai mangiate di così carnose! (dopo i giusti complimenti, mi son state mostrate e benché fossero le 16 erano ancora ben vive) Dovessi ricapitare in zona, tornerò per certo
