A perfect place to people watch, enjoy the view of the square and have an aperitif after a walk and before a meal. The snacks they serve help you not to overdo it with alcohol. For every recommendation.

Even with their spectacular location & their historic reputation, caffè del Tasso authentically shines brightest thanks to its excellent service and delicious food. In 2025 I was there 6 times and every time was equally tasty, fun, and welcoming. Gianluca in the front of the house, Rose behind the scenes (and the bar) plus Chiara and frankly all the wait staff make every visit feeling like coming home for a meal with the family. Highly recommend Caffè del Tasso for your every occasion and taste. Looking forward to returning myself in 2026!

The place is very traditional. The courses were nice and delicious. The restaurant has a special italian atmosphere and style. The waiters are very welcoming and kind.

Marcello was a wonderful hospitable host. The food is gorgeous Italian cuisine, with such beautiful flavour. We ate inside, it has a beautiful atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend.

13/11/2025: Fabulous grilled fish x2, the trio of smoked fish was also delicious... very fresh fish... the girl in the dining room was very kind and helpful, I highly recommend it
28/10/2025: Lunch with friends, lots of compliments from them. Really good food, the risotto alla pescadora was very generous, not to mention the fried fish musto. The friendliness of the waitresses was exceptional. I was amazed by all this. Keep it up! I'll definitely be back. Thank you so much ☺️
