at Café de Paris a change that you can feel
I have been frequenting bars and clubs for years and, as always, I have never been afraid to tell things as they are. My reviews are honest, often harsh, but always sincere. And if a place improves over time, I am the first to recognize it. This is precisely the case of Café de Paris in Bergamo.
This bar, located in a strategic position with an outdoor area overlooking the Upper Town, has always enjoyed a certain amount of movement. It is, by its nature, a point of continuous passage: a true seaport. But until some time ago, despite the position and the constant flow of customers, the atmosphere, in my personal experiences, was not the best. There was something heavy, almost stale: an unwelcoming air, made of habitual faces and absent smiles. Going in gave me no pleasure. It seemed like the classic bar where you go out of necessity, not out of desire.
Today it has transformed, and you can feel it immediately: in the environment, in the people, in the general climate. It has become a lively, dynamic, young place. Not in the anagraphic sense of the term, but in spirit. The real strength, in fact, are the young people who animate it and manage it with energy, rhythm and smiles. The service is attentive, the atmosphere light and pleasant. You come in willingly, you stop with pleasure.
Unlike other places in the area that seem to rely on a tired routine or on a consolidated clientele, here you breathe something different: a desire to do, to improve, to leave a positive impression and when you notice a real, concrete evolution, it is right to underline it.

I'm not arguing the quality, just the staff. It's obvious that they aren't Parisians. So why Café de Paris?
Google Maps now, when you put five stars it lets everything go through, when you put one star it prevents everything, so know that our reviews are all checked and modified by Google; if this were not the case we would write exactly the truth.
