We got there on the Bernina Express in June 2024. The pretty garden with the large parasols was particularly inviting because of the heat. A very friendly, German-speaking waiter was there quickly with the menu and took the drink order. There were four of us and it was already quite late for lunch, but everything went great. The salad was plentiful and fresh. As is typical for the country, there was a garnish with various vinegars, oils, etc. to make yourself. I much prefer this to the often dubious dressings in German pizzerias. My pizza was large, had plenty of toppings and was very tasty. The other three at the table were also very satisfied with their food. Accustomed to the by no means intoxicating food at horrendous prices in Switzerland, we were even happier after the modest bill.

14/03/2025: I read useless and obvious comments, fixed menu aside, which I also don't love, the Dogana Vegia turns out to be a unique place, a dive into the rural past and the history of the mountains, a museum! The owner Dario has a particular character, the service certainly isn't five star, but if you know how to take it it's also nice.. The cost of €70 may also be questionable, but not exaggerated and the place is worth it all. The food is excellent and plentiful. The venue has a unique and unparalleled charm with a romantic atmosphere. If you are not hungry and don't want or can't spend this amount, this is not the place for you.
26/01/2025: The Best Restaurant in the World. For me it is not a simple restaurant but a real work of art. The food is perfect and cooked with love, the rooms are splendid in every detail, the people make you feel at home. I hate putting reviews but in this case it's worth it. There is no amount that this place is worth. A note placed next to the wines reads "it lasted six hours: it's as if it had been a minute, because life doesn't last longer". Ristorante Pizzeria Vittoria

01/01/2025: No estaba muy ocupado cuando vine a comer, así que eso puede haber ayudado a tener un servicio rápido y amable. La pizza quattre carni era buena relación calidad-precio y buen gusto.
09/12/2024: Siamo stati in questo locale a fare pranzo prima di prendere il famoso trenino rosso. Come dal titolo posto strategico perchè a 10 passi (contati) dall'ingresso della stazione. Abbiamo mangiato con menu concordato. Buoni i pizzoccheri (anche se preferisco fatti con la farina di solo grano saraceno, sicuramente più difficile da preparare sopratutto per un ristorante con molti coperti). Bresaola servita su piatti ancora gelati, e bresaola troppo fredda per poterla gustura; insieme hanno portato il formaggio (ottimo) e portato contestualmente nella terrina per la tavolata la polenta (sembrava quella precotta). Pertanto prima abbiamo dovuto mangiare la bresaola (troppo fredda fedda per essere gustata a dovere) condita con il limone; finita la bresaola, sempre nello stesso piatto gelato abbiamo potuto mettere la polenta e i formaggi praticamente sul condmento (limone/olio) rimasto della bresaola. Ovviamente la polenta nel frattempo diventata fredda, sul piatto freddo con i pezzi di formaggio che sono rimasti tali quali senza amalgamarsi con la polenta stessa. In poche parole un servizio (organizzazione) scadente. Un vero peccato perchè tolta la polenta, il resto sembrava di buona qualità.
