Title: Pleasant stay, but with some flaws I stayed in this hotel on November 23, 2024, the evening before my birthday, in a room in the Palace Suite. The structure is welcoming, the rooms clean and the staff courteous, but some details did not meet the expectations of a 9.4 rating. The television did not work properly due to the internet connection, and the wall radiators in the bathroom were not working, creating some inconvenience. Furthermore, one of the girls who served the breakfasts was not very kind, which contributed to making the experience less pleasant. Considering that it was the eve of a special day for me, a small gesture or more attention to these aspects would have made the experience more memorable. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but with some improvements it could really reach the level of the reviews that describe it.

Good hotel very well located in the center of Trieste. Very attentive service and renovated rooms in an old building. I don't give it 5 stars for two reasons: the bottom sheets are too small for the beds and cannot be adjusted (photo). Breakfast is not an open buffet, but rather a waiter serves what is ordered. I don't like this because it forces me to order a plate of cheese or cold cuts when I want to eat just a little bit and if there are a lot of people it can take a while for what was ordered to come out. Otherwise it is an excellent place.

Da uns schon das Frühstück in dem geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ambiente so gut gefiel, waren wir auch zum Abendessen dort. Am schönsten Tisch mit Blick nach draußen haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auswirkungen hatten Carpaccio vom Angus Rind Filet und Tartare di Tonno als Starter. Beides unglaublich lecker. Nachfolgend gab es hausgemachte Ricotta Gnocchetti in einer fruchtigen Sauce aus gelben Tomaten sowie sous vide gegartes Lamm mit Erbsen-Minz-Püree und Kartoffelgratin. Dies wurde begleitet von einer Flasche gutem Friulano Sauvignon. Abgerundet wurde unser selbst zusammen gestelltes Menü von den Desserts Creme brûlée und Millefoglie mit Beeren. Der Service war sehr freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. Wir haben den Abend dort sehr genossen.
