Cafè Braceria Chianina In Cortona

I have eaten here several times at lunch for pasta, this was a first dinner and for meat. After reading the menu, none of us could decide, so we asked the staff for recommendation. The choices were amazing, she brought both types out for us to review and approve. We selected a 30 day and 60 day and chiana, each was delivered and we had time to enjoy it before the second came out. Excellent wine recommendation and side dishes really complemented the meat. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Spectacular restaurant in an unexpected location!! We actually went after careful research, and I must say I had a wonderful time!! Simple but impeccable service from Emanuele, who offers invaluable advice on choosing meats, and his staff of truly super friendly and very professional ladies! The appetizer for two was excellent, the Chianina steak aged for over 60 days was simply amazing, the grilled porcini mushrooms were excellent, and the desserts were all worth discovering... truly remarkable, too. I'd even go so far as to say that the bread basket and other treats were truly remarkable and appropriate for the occasion and the dishes served! The wine list was excellent. The price was in line and, in my opinion, fair, with no surprises! We'll be back very soon.

We wanted to get out of the town of Cortona and found this Braceria, which I highly recommend for its flavors, the staff's expertise, and the friendliness. It's just outside Cortona, but it's worth it. I ordered a 60-day-aged Mora del Baltico, as well as tagliatelle with mushrooms, a classic sliced ​​steak, and fried foods on the side. Honestly... I'd go back to try all the other cuts and meats. Recommended for 2.

The location is in an industrial area and therefore disadvantaged, but the owners have managed to make it an original and welcoming place. The large garden perfectly embodies the festive and social spirit. Friendly and welcoming service from true Tuscans, while maintaining professionalism and discretion. The food is sublime and truly worth the price. Local meats are beautifully presented, processed and preserved. Local oil and wine. Recommended often.
