Vibes are nice but the food is was a little mediocre. Lamb was super overcooked and the pizzas were pretty average. The ragu pasta was good though.
A very central shop in the center of Baunei. Since it is open from the morning we visited it for both coffee and dinner. Its espresso was not to our liking.
At our dinner the staff was not very friendly, and communication was difficult in English. The restaurant was very clean and uses good raw materials, but the flavors could be more intense or creative. If you choose it, definitely try the sebadas dish! The view and the space on the terrace are very beautiful!

We stopped in Baunei for breakfast and arrived at this cafe by chance, we didn't expect such a view. It was super nice to be totally alone on the rooftop 😍

A small restaurant in the center of the village. We had four pizzas, all very good and off the beaten path. The desserts were good. The price was average. The staff was friendly, but only when ordering. We were informed that the kitchen is closed on Tuesdays, only pizza and salads. The view was wonderful. You can eat inside or outside. Recommended.

At this restaurant, I tried both the Ogliastra and Baunesis culurgiones, which were truly delicious. The terrace is also beautiful for its view, and the staff is very friendly.

Highly recommended! There isn't much competition on the mountain, though.
If you have a problem with wasps, I recommend having dinner after sunset, as otherwise you'll only be bothered by them. The staff, however, make every effort to get rid of them.

The pizzas were delicious. There are usually plenty of places, but it's a good idea to make a reservation if there's a town festival. The desserts were also incredible, and the service was excellent; we were treated with great respect.
