I highly recommend it... the service is very different from the typical Italian service... lol. You know when you arrive and are served by someone who loves what they do... That was our experience... From the beginning we were very well received, the dishes were politely explained one by one... the Bistecca alla Fiorentina was perfect, the best I've had in all of Italy... I'll definitely be back and I definitely recommend it... If you want to eat the best Bistecca alla Fiorentina and at the fairest price in Florence, this is the place!!!!

Abbiamo scoperto questo posto per caso : non è uno dei tanti locali “ fighetti “ e pretenziosi,per la maggior parte trappole per turisti, che proliferano a Firenze ma un locale tradizionale sia nell’ arredo che nel menù che offre un ampia scelta di piatti tipici toscani che cucinano in modo eccellente e in porzioni abbondanti : abbiamo mangiato carciofi fritti deliziosamente croccanti e non unti ,pici all’ aglione e e pappardelle ottimi , Fiorentina tenerissima e saporita, buoni i dessert e i contorni Sottolineo inoltre la gentilezza ,premurosita’ e professionalità del servizio Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo Unico rammarico : non aver potuto assaggiare tutto per mancanza di spazio nella pancia! Poco male : al prossimo soggiorno a Firenze torneremo sicuramente!

We came across this restaurant by chance for lunch on January 3rd, ordered à la carte from the menu of the day. Tasty, well-prepared dishes, good starter of cured meats, delicious homemade tagliatelle with wild boar ragout, delicious pici all'aglione and a mouth-watering Florentine steak on the bone (over one kg). Perfect, welcoming and familiar service. Typical cuisine that does not disappoint, it was exactly what we were looking for. Dated environment but in some cases I prefer to look at the substance, which absolutely deserves it. Honest account. Well done everyone.

Este restaurante fue recomendado por nuestro anfitrión Airbnb. Tuvimos el mejor guiso de carne que hemos probado. Sin duda volveremos a visitar este restaurante de nuevo cuando estemos en Florencia.

Food and atmosphere felt like a homecooked meal, the pici was so good we ordered 2. The risotto was excellent as well. We felt the portions were slightly smaller than other restaurants in the area, but I'd take it over the comfort and quality of the food. Our server was very sweet!

The ribollita that I tried here reminded me so much of the fasolada (bean soup) of my greek grandma. I could hardly hold back my tears of emotion! Grazie!

We were recommended to visit this place, and it actually was great! It’s a calm, charming spot with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The waitress were kind and attentive, creating such a pleasant and relaxed vibe throughout the whole meal. Service was impressively quick, and the staff paid great attention to detail, whether it was adding extra cheese, oil, or anything else you needed. Empty plates were immediately carried away, which kept the table tidy and added to the overall experience. For our meal, we ordered pasta with cod(?) and risotto with artichoke as our main dishes, and the local specialty, Tripotto, to share. Tripotto is a fancier version of lampredotto, which are tender, well-cooked cow intestines. It was surprisingly soft and flavorfull! Every dish was absolutely comforting and full of incredible flavours. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was light and delightful, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!
