A proper old Fiorentine restaurant, famliy operated over 100 years. The best Ossobuco I've had in Italy and probably anywhere else in the world. Traditional Fiorentine food, no hype.

My girlfriend and I spent 2 weeks travelling through Northern Italy and our dinner at Cafaggi was without doubt the highlight of our trip.
In a touristy city like Florence where you are spoiled for choice, finding a 'hidden gem' like this place took a bit of research, but was absolutely worth it.
It was a no-thrills experience, nothing fancy - but this place made it feel and taste like you were invited to a meal with the family. The service was extremely good and the food was even better. If you are looking for a hidden jewel in Florence then I recommend this place as high as possible.

Typical old Italian restaurant with delicious dishes. Ambience is not special but that does not matter because the food is really delicious!
Definitely recommended, you can safely go here to eat if you are in Florence. Not touristy, it was not busy.
Peposo is an absolute must!

Restaurant with a simple but clean environment. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent quality and traditional food. We had rib eye steak with baked potatoes and gnocchi with ragù. Everything was delicious.
You can feel the atmosphere of times gone by.

Storica trattoria in centro. Buon cibo verace e fiorentino con tutte le tipicità toscane, dalla ribollita al trippotto (misto di trippa a lampredotto) fino a cervello fritto e baccalà.
Ottimo per un pranzo veloce ed a prezzi giusti

Nos recomendaron este restaurante por nuestro anfitrión. Ya estábamos comprometidos con el filete con solo mirar la carne en la ventana. El restaurante era acogedor y auténtico. Servie era eficiente y amable. Pedimos el filete de entrecote "tagliata" (en rodajas) con balancín y un lado de papas asadas. La carne qas carbonizada por fuera y rosa por el medio, perfectamente cocida. Junto con una jarra de rojo de la casa era sublime. Muy recomendable!
