Close and friendly service, English or Italian, they give you everything you ask for and insist until you are comfortable. We ordered some gnocchi and pork and we have not tried it so delicious anywhere. Abundant and exquisite portion. It is an endearing place, where you can try the typical food of the area and eat to your heart's content. We will return as much as our itinerary allows us. The house's wine room is cheaper than Coca Cola, which is ideal for making kalimotxo.

Authentic and delicious Italian food with kind service. The owner very kindly gave us some suggestions of what to order - it is clear they take a lot of pride in their food, which shows in its high quality. Both of the pastas we ordered tasted very freshly made, and the Osso bucco was also fantastic. The sautéed mussel appetiser was very generous and also tasted great. Our waiter was also very patient and friendly even though we took a while to decide what we wanted. Great value for money, thank you for a lovely dinner.

We found this restaurant on the Internet. It was close to our hotel and we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Clearly family owned and run, we were struck by the number of reserved tables - we were lucky to secure a table, even on a Monday evening. Clearly popular with the locals which is always a good sign. We ordered off the daily menu and the food was fabulous - beautifully cooked and presented and good sized portions. Would highly recommend and would suggest reading other reviews with care - I have since seen a negative review from the very same evening (22/04) and I can’t imagine how that other reviewer came to the conclusions she did! We liked it so much that we went again on our last night in Florence - and it was just as good that time, so add consistency to my other findings!
