A wonderfully simple and authentically welcoming place, where you can still feel a pleasant, homey atmosphere of complete relaxation. It's no coincidence that it's frequented, unfortunately less and less frequently, by the great Francesco Guccini and his friends/fans. We sampled a wonderful ribollita after enjoying a hearty platter of cured meats and cheeses typical of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. The owners, Mimmo and Elisabetta, are very friendly and attentive to their customers. It will be our regular stop every time we return to this area.

The food is truly delicious, everything from appetizers to main courses is delicious. The meat is a must-try. We've known it for years and regularly come here for New Year's Eve, too. The dinner was excellent.

Mimmo is a true Tuscan and extremely knowledgeable about cheese. The food is excellent, but the cheeses are superb. I recommend them from appetizer to dessert. Prices are moderate, and the service is basic but efficient. Reservations are required.
