A delicious, cozy restaurant run by Walter and his wife that was so good we went back twice during our time in Florence. The steak was especially good.

One of the best restaurants in Florence! Walter made us feel welcomed and guided us through the meals. He is very knowledgeable and very attentive to my family and I. The food was spectacular! I had the Fettunta Al Pomodoro (shown below) and the Tagliatelle con Pomodorino e Burrata. They were delicious and am already dreaming about having them again. We’ll definitely return. Much love from Puerto Rico!

Stopped here during our trip to Florence and the food and service was awesome! Does anyone know what the other liqueur they served with the limoncello was? It was absolutely delicious, I need more!

Best pasta I have ever had in my life. Top 3 of my favorite restaurants in the world. Beats carbone in NYC. It was so good that I decided not to try any other restaurants in Florence and came back the next day

I had a delicious dinner here. Walter made my trip to Florence unforgettable. Ravioli and pasta were so tasty. The duck was one of the best I’ve ever. So tender with a crispy skin. I will definitely come back to try more dishes.

Great experience, twice. We went there on Sunday for dinner, then reserved a table again on Tuesday. Mr. Walter is a true gentleman and also a culinary expert. He served us well both times. Food was excellent. The chef, Mr. Walter's wife, is an exceptional talent. The food is excellent and overall experience is even better. In my opinion this place is one of the best kept secrets of the city. I would expect such wonderful place not to have availability at least for a couple weeks. Ability to reserve for the same day is good for us, but does not make this great place enough justice.

Jag har rest regelbundet till Italien ca 7-8 gånger om året sedan 2011. Jag brukar inte skriva omdömen om alla de restauranger jag besökt, men för denna osterian vill jag göra ett undantag. Walter driver genuin och utmärkt Osteria. Lokalen är liten men väldigt välkomnande och smakfullt inredd. Maten är klassisk och utmärkt, pastan är handgjord, charkuterierna förstklassiga, och vinerna är väl avvägda. I kombination med det personliga bemötandet som präglas av omtanke och en önskan om en fin upplevelse blir detta superbt. Nästa gång jag är i Firenze kommer gärna hit igen.

Después de registrarnos en nuestro hotel, estábamos buscando un lugar para relajarse - beber un poco de vino y comer buena comida! Había bastantes restaurantes a un par de minutos a pie de nuestro hotel. Revisamos todos y finalmente decidimos por este aunque el más pequeño. Fuimos introducidos después de una breve espera. Era un lugar pequeño pero acogedor - parecía dirigido por la familia. Estábamos sentados por el dueño siempre sonriente Walter. Pedimos una botella de Chianti. El servicio comenzó con algo muy básico, pero extraordinario: pan casero tostado a la llama y aceite de oliva. ¡Oh Dios, tan delicioso era el pan! Focaccia es el mejor pan del mundo para mi gusto. Pero este fue muy especial a su manera. Pedimos Fettunta Con Acciughe y Pappardelle Anatra. En pocas palabras, pasta con jabalí para mí y pato para mi esposa si no recuerdo mal. Y la cena terminó con Tiramisu. Después de que terminamos, Walter llamó a su esposa que fue la creadora de toda esta deliciosa comida para conocernos. Les dimos las gracias y nos despedimos. ¡Fue una experiencia maravillosa!
