Cacio e Pepe - Bottega Romana In Milano

In my opinion the food was good, the place was a little small, perhaps giving up a couple of tables would be better, but what I frankly didn't appreciate and I see it confirmed by other reviews is the very little attitude of the staff. Rude and unkind. Does the owner read the reviews?

I went to this restaurant for lunch with my friends. All very good, plentiful dishes. The staff super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Excellent Roman cuisine restaurant in a quiet street in Milan. Relaxing atmosphere, few seats, nice and friendly staff.

We had a fantastic back to back lunch and dinner at Cacio & Pepe Bottega Romana. We ordered on our 1st lunch: - Cacio e Pepe - Carbonara (basic) - Artichoke On our 2nd day, we came back for dinner because it was really good. - Ordered again Cacio e Pepe - part of our group - I had the Carbonara Tartufu (super good) - Others had Guanciale - appetizers we had: fried anchovies, pulpo salad - also had table red wine which was not acidic at all Service is impeccable. Our server was so entertaining and friendly. He knew we were all tourists so he cracked up some jokes. Over-all, good resto. price point plus serving size is great. Tip: RESERVE in advance. They are usually full around 15-20 mins when they open both for lunch or dinner.

True Roman cuisine in Milan! Highly recommended!

Satisfied after years of research on this Roman restaurant. I ate the carbonara and found it tasty, not salty, and with a delicious cream. I also tried the half rigatoni with oxtail and I liked it. The dining room staff is smiling and courteous. The room is welcoming and tastefully furnished. Too bad the background music is a little loud.

Soddisfatta dopo anni di ricerche di questo ristorante romano. Ho mangiato la carbonara e l'ho trovata saporita, non salata, e con una deliziosa cremina. Ho assaggiato pure i mezzi rigatoni con la coda alla vaccinara e mi sono piaciuti. Il personale di sala è sorridente e cortese. Il locale è accogliente e arredato con gusto. Peccato che la musica di sottofondo sia leggermente alta.

perfect for having a good carbonara (the truffle is also very delicious) or a delicious cacio & Pepe. always set. Close treatment and a fairly familiar atmosphere because it is a place where the clients are usually known (or so it seems). Highly recommended for lunch or dinner in the Puerta Romana area. The kitchen closes early, the Italian way (not for tourists)

Piccolo ristorante vicino a piazza 5 giornate con un menu prevalentemente romano. I classici sono eseguiti alla perfezione: fiori di zucca con alici ottimi, carciofo alla romana ottimo, carbonara e gricia top, secondi piatti a base di agnello molto buoni. Servizio informale e simpatico, ed il cameriere - anche se non parla l ormai solito e un po’ convenzionale dialetto romanesco - e’ super preparato. Manca solo forse una tovaglia e si può certamente migliorare sul pane, per il resto bel posto da consigliare.
